More backstage oncarry in TNA, with Angelina Love leaving due to Visa problems, and JR's contract under negotiation with WWE, things are still interesting.
JR is getting on a bit, has health issues, and a family business thats growing. TNA's very light TV schedule may be just what he needs. Imagine JR and The Professor calling the action!
But, back to reality, and a quality SD this week - Punk was channeling his 2004 awesomeness perfectly, and nice to see WWE avoiding the predictable Ziggler title win and going with Morrison, setting up a potential show-stealer at Breaking Point.

Jeff Hardy's has been arrested on drug trafficing offences. Seen the police mugshot online.
So is it real or a plot to fuel CM Punk's straight edge stuff?

It's real, police don't release statements to fuel wrestling storylines!
Jeff has been finished with WWE for well over a week now so it isn't relevant to his wrestling career as yet, but WWE has cancelled the upcoming 3DVD set indefinitely.
Bigger news is the all but confirmed return of Ric Flair to face Hogan in the main event of the tokyo dome show later in the year.

^^ Time will tell! Ironically, the realistic rumors (as opposed to the tabliod style headlines) is that the reason he had so much in his house was that he had completely quit, and deliveries had kept coming for a while, so he stuffed it all out of the way (what else could he do? selling it or giving it to someone discreetly aint easy if your a world champ!)
His court case was a couple of days ago - haven;t checked the forums yet to see what he's being charged with.
Because - only just got to watch the Hell in a Cell PPV due to being callled out last night.
Wow. This is just like the 90's all over again! Friday we had the Rocks return to remind us how good things used to be, then the PPV delivers on all but the booking.
The unified tag title match was amazing, showing jsut what 4 former world champs can do. Taker - Punk was predictable, but set the tone for the night well and was a wise opener.
Morrison/Ziggler was a high quality match, not quite "there" yet but its working. Drew's squash of R-Truth was perfect, and Mickies DDT was as brutal as any wrestling move i've seen!
So... the only bad bit - DX/Legacy. Or more, the fact it was the main event. In the middle of the night it would have been just fine, as we know this is a long running feud so nothing would be settled yet.
Orton/Cena stole the show for me, or rather Orton did. Definitely one of the top 3 HIAC matches of all time, and took Ortons character to yet another level. Excellent.
So, a good time to be a fan again! Fair out of retirement. Bret on his way back to WWE, Rock guest hosting the next 3 hour RAW, some decent pushes for younger stars (Abraham Washington rocks!) and WWE is at last giving TNA a run for it's money.

I completely agree spin, was quite a PPV DX/Legacy was predictable, as was taker/cmpunk but its nice to see taker champ for a while anyway...
Bur orton just takes the PPV to another level the man has brought proper wrestling entertainment back to, wwe.. although I can see a feud with the other 2 legacey members coming about turning orton to a face character.
And same for the unified tag match that was class! Just wish Jericho would turn face again he's a legend!

He's better where he is now. He is really a face people like to boo, thats all!
Some sweet storytelling building to Bragging Rights, but this isnt WWE weekend (despite Shane announcing his resignation from WWE and trying to steal the news)
TNA has a blistering linup for their Wrestlemania - Bound for Glory, on sunday.
Aside from the classic Sting/AJ ttile match, we have and Ultimate X match, Hernandes and Nash in a ring at last, Lasley vs joe (MAN I hope Joe shoots and destroys him!) and my personal highlight - Abyss/Foley.
If you have missed any of the hype, have a look here (link as some content is graphic)

For UK people, if you cant find a live stream, it is on Bravo on wednesday night.

Must admit saw the batista ray angle coming a long time ago, shame orton lost though, probably a legacey break story for him now.

Last nights RAW was a perfect mix of the WWE being excellent and plain awful rolled into one.
Cena gave a great rant about how stale the WWE title picture had been with repeated matches, then we have the beginning of the Orton/Kofi feud (and that amazing ability WWE has to make people look physically bigger when they step up to main event level)
Then the main even placing all of the RAW roster on a level playing field, so anybody out there could have been named new contender, and they go for.... HHH and HBK.
Talk about a let down

WWE Live is brilliant fun. I'm missing this tour due to work and a wedding I have to go to
Have to admit I'm kinda stunned at Hogan signing with TNA. Even if it's just a short term deal, it's bound to impact on him getting his long-wanted retirement run with WWE.

With the news now clear that Hogan and Biscoff haven't just signed with TNA, but have taken over creative direction of the company, this could well be the most fun time to be a wrestling fan since 1998!
One thing thats been buried by the big news is Lesnars UFC104 fight has now been put back to UFC106 due to an undisclosed illness. Lots of rumours os swine flu, but thats probably just tabloid reporting..
