See that's all everton care about!

Liverpool care about how well they do in all competitions Everton care about if they beat Liverpool, shows the gulf in class as said before! And I think you'll find I've been to Anfield on more then one occasion which isn't as easy living so far away as you say, so I wont need to know the ground details mate. The most satisfying thing will be when you beat boro tomorrow, or sunday whenever it is, and you go to Wembley you lot will just fall at the first hurdle... as always.

Talking about managers in my opinion the best in the world would be...

A.Ferguson
M.O.Neill
F.Cappello
A.Wenger
S.G.Erikksson
C.Ancellotti
G.Hiddink
C.Ranieri

thats my opinion i wouldnt mind any of them in charge at City

Its like City and United,

United are the top dogs and we are the underdogs, when we took 6 points off united that for me was the best season in my life i didnt care if we got relegated as long as every time my united mates said we're the best i could turn round and say you never beat us last season, this is football and thats what its all about, Everton knocking Liverpool out of the cup was huge and effictively look wats happend Liverpool hanging on to a shoelace hoping the champions league will repay them again, if Liverpool win nothing this year and everton finish top 6, Everton will hold there heads alot higher than the reds.

I love the rivalry its quality, this is what its all about!!

From what was the title race united v liverpool is now the battle of the cups in the battle of merseyside,

Imagine Liverpool win the Champions League, its gonna be all we won it 6 times, we won it six times and regardless no one will be able to even sentance without TORRES, TORRES being thrown back,

BUT if they dont and Everton go and win the F.A Cup then its all about the blue's and until Liverpool lift a trophy they wont let them live it down and in the back of every reds mind this would be hell.

Going back to my original point if no trophys come over the mersey its gonna be the reds eating cloth!!, blown the title, lost in Europe, knocked out the f.a cup by Everton!!

i say no more.

If we finish 6th (or even higher) that is as just an achievement as Man Utd winning 5 trophies, seriously!

Can't believe no-one has picked up on that yet. I don't really know a way to go about disagreeing with it simply because there is no real argument. I hope that was the drink talking as you said you had been drinking at the end of that post!

Leesil, I got to disagree with you completly wether Liverpool go this season with winning nuthing I'm sure they will be happy with a sucessful season espicially if they finish 2nd

I no they want to win some silverware but it doesnt always happen like that, look at Everton they are playing well this season but by the time the end comes will they be in a position to gloat at Liverpool who will be in the champions league (next time around) who will have a great chance at winning any trophy!

If everton don't win the F.A Cup then its a bad season, honestly if Everton don't finish in the top 4 then thats like Liverpool not winning any major Trophies, becuase you need to remember Liverpool's standards are much higher than yours they don't want top 4 they want top they dont want semi finals they want finals, and I think for any Everton fan to say we had a great season they either need to have the FA Cup or finish in the top 4!

Also just to add: I arnt a liverpool fan so I don't no what the rivelry is like between the 2 teamsbut I don't think Liverpool will be to botherd if Everton won the FA Cup because if you look back Everton hasnt won anything majoy compared to liverpool so I think it will be overcome

We have to remember Moyes' record in Europe.

What has he won? Nothing?

What has he achieved? European football, champions league and UEFA cup spots FA cup quarters (with a great chance of getting to Wembley - but only for a semi... I've said my piece on this money making scam already)

What can he achieve? At Everton, exactly what he has already done, at a big club? Who knows, one thing is for sure he will move on to somewhere "bigger" That shows he has something, but it shows that the manager is better than the club.

Is he better than Rafa Benitez? League titles won on a shoestring with Velencia, Uefa cup with Vilencia, Champions League, 2 finals in 3 years, won one after what must be the greatest team talk of all time? And of couse the FA cup.

Rafas failings come in the prem, Moyes' very much so in Europe, I've seen them play a few times, and their naive play is shocking tbh. Am sure should Everton get into Europe through either League positionings or the FA cup, Moyes will be better prepared and Everton should go further.

Everybody gets this impression I hate Everton, I really do not, I hope they beat Boro, I hope they get to Wembley, the rivalry between the two clubs has been small in comparison to what it one was, yet the hatred has been larger. I said a long time ago that the reason for this is Evertons failings, if Everton win something, the rivalry will be bigger, and their bitterness less.

Everton fans deep down respect Liverpool, it doesn't need to be said, it is just obvious. From a line from a popular everton song

"We don't care what the red side say, what the heck do we care?"

If anybody can't spot the irony in there then somethings wrong. Not caring is when you neither like or dislike something, so basically it shouldn't need singing.

You never hear Anti-Everton songs when Liverpool don't play Everton, yet that is sung at least 3 times a game at Goodison, especially after a victory.

It sums where the 2 clubs are to me.

We have the best manager in the world

I could name 10 right now better then him,

Jose Mourinho
Rafa Benitez
Arsene Wenger
Martin O'neill
Alex Ferguson
Carlos Quieroz
Carlo Ancelotti
Steve Bruce
Harry Redknapp
Gianfranco Zola

And before you pull the typical everton reflex of they all had money behind them you don't just buy success!

Funny Stuff

Davy Moyes = Best manager in the premier league barr alex ferguson

I would reel off 15 managers better than moyes and that wouldn't include Redknapp, Quiroz or Zola.

1)Mourinho
2)Fergie
3)Ancelotti
4)Raikard
5)Benitez
6)Wenger
7)O'neil
8)Capello
9)Scolari
10)Hiddink
11)Aragones
12)Bruce
13)Guardiola
14)Bilic
15)Lippi

I really could go on ...

He's one of them annoying managers who talks themselves up in such a subtle way you don't know hes doing it.

Lack of spends
Injuries
Bad refereeing decisions
Or all of the above are just timeless excuses, and shouldn't be considered when discussing whos the best manager.

Don't know wether I want Everton or Boro to win this. Obviously Everton due to Boro being slight rivals, but if Boro have more on their mind in the FA Cup and League then it could help Newastle. Think Everton will win though.
