Today...

Villa - Everton

Everton played some mouth watering play, truly amazing! But Tim Howard has to hold his hands up today and say "sorry lads but I've just cost us the game" because he was poor, everyone knows he had a poor game. I went out with my dad and brother and all my dads mates to watch us and the atmosphere was top drawer, everyone talking about the coach and bringing butties and ale for the trip, going for a meal at 12 once we get in to London, ohhh it just sounds sooo good . Any ways enough of Wembley for today (you won't hear the last of it through out the week from me ).

3-3... before the game i just wanted no injuries and us to actually play with confidence going into the game with Man United... but we got more than that, we should of won the game without a doubt, but credit to Villa they played some nice stuff although they got lucky with the decisions for the penalty and free-kick which resulted with their two goals. We should catch Villa, they certainly are there for the taken! 4th is gone now and 6th is certainly ours, so we're playing for pride and dignity now, with no pressure i fancy us to leapfrog Villa.

Stand out player, and man of the match (for me) was Phil Neville, he was outstanding today! True professional. Without him we wouldn't be where we are today, every club needs a player like him.

Jo, played his best game in an Everton shirt today.

Fellaini, one of his better games.

Can't belive Giggs is in their, hardly played and scored just once.

5/6 are from united - it really is pathetic.

Every team in the premier league has had a player with a better season than what Giggs has had, it is just a joke. Ronaldo has been disapointing, Van Der Sar hasn't pulled off an amazing save all season, i think he has been a bit dodgy tbh... and Rio Ferdinand has been overshadowed by Vidic.

The shortlist should just be Vidic and Gerrard, and Gerrard SHOULD walk it.

Will he? Nahh Vidic will undoubtably win it.

I don't like Gerrard so hopefully Vidic for the win

Giggs and Ronaldo never deserve to be there
Van De Sar is only there because he went on a massive streak of games without conceeding which is due to the fact he has 2 of the best centre halves in the world infront of him.
Vidic deserves to be nominated, he has had a brilliant season
Gerrard should win simply for the fact he is the best player in the world.

Why do you hate him so much? Is it because of that assault charge against him which was dropped?

Done a little 5 pound bet on both games tonight being draws, can't see it like but it makes it better with a bet whilst watching

The resultsss.....

Chelsea 1 v's 0 Liverpool, thats what both my heart and head says.

Munich 1 v's 1 Barca.

Lookin' forward to the game tonight, i hope it's as good as the first leg. It would be fitting for Liverpool fans to just see them perform and make the score over both legs look reasonable also for the remembrance of the poor 96 people who lost their lives.
