That's all that seems to get pushed in Newcastle fan's faces though.
"You're all deluded, thinking your a big club and that", while you know who it is actually going on about Newcastle and big club? The people saying it. I havn't heard a Newcastle fan say it for a long time.

Football didn't begin when the premiership began... :S We are a hugeeeeeeeeeee club because we are the most succesful in the country, still pushing for all trophies domestically and in Europe, no club in England is more succesful, "a few fans" you having a bubble!?!? :S our fan base stretches to asia, america........ Norway...
Stoke City is a big club because you support them. OK... them faithful fans have only become faithful since you got in the prem therefore - not all that faithful.

To me the biggest club in the world is Stoke City who cares if UTD got millions of fans nobody has got as many loyal fans as us IMO so the biggest club is not always the biggest name its the team you love the most and that team is always going to be the biggest club for you in your heart.

Newcastle are a big club, they have good fans too, people should lay off them i think.
It will be a shame if they go down, just another pointless game to the fixture (burnley away) possily, simalar to Leeds, big team and a big match to lose every season,
no offence, but the likes of burnley, hull its just not the same big game environment that you get from newcastle / leeds.
just my opinion,

Take the fan base from Newcastle (which is a big bloody place!) what have you got?
14:54 Thu 21 May 09 (BST) [Link]
That's because a majority of our fans actually come from where the team is, none of this supporting teams for success, most of the fans support Newcastle because they can go to their games, as football fans would want to
And there are actually Newcastle fan bases accross the world as well, supporting Newcastle simply because they like the football club, again not for the success or anything.
When you get 45,000+ to games with a club in this state, I would say it's not so much a case of fan base deteriorating, but more so the loyalty shown by all but 5,000. Yes that may drop next season, but how much would it drop if Liverpool were to be relegated? They'd have less fans left than the capacity of the stadium

The 1st paragraph you sound like ste and the other blue nose
2nd paragraph Anfield would still be filled every game, and most probs even Stanley Park. If it wasn't for the shame of relegation and all the mocking, I wouldn't mind Liverpool being in a relegation battle for a season. It might just wake the fans up a bit!
Q:Take the fan base out of Newcastle what have you got?

Bit in bold:
???? :S, You would never hear a Man Utd fan saying that would you? Or a Chelsea, Arsenal! Sounds to me like your desperate for an exciting season and by being in a relegation dog fight that would be the perfect exciting season! Typical Kopite.
Monday i will start the unbelievable story about Everton's final, too early yet although the excitement is unbearable at the moment

The 1st paragraph you sound like ste and the other blue nose
All I said was that most the Newcastle fans support the club for the simple fact that they like the football club for what it is, not the success factor. Which, as it happens, for the majority of Liverpool fans isn't the case.

When you say things like 'Our fan base stretches to america' thats not the best thing I prefer to go watch Stoke with 27,000 Stokies I dont want to watch my team with a american or with Korean guy or even a mancunian, we watch stoke becuase we love the football the majority of your fans don't even live in Liverpool they follow you because they had sucess once upto a time. You got 18 major trophies hasnt united got the same??? And don't United have a better chance of getting more than you?? End of day your nuthing anymore who cares you were unberlievable in Europe many years ago and nuthing would of stoped you but them days have gone now all you got is a Gerrard who beats people up in gangs like a little Asbo kid and you got nuthing!
Also you needed to get a foreigner into your club to manage it atleast with Fergie and Shearer Pulis they all come from Britain!

I'd like to say you never make mates on an online game! <thou who shalt not be named> promised me an F.A cup final ticket not only that but i gave him my details to send it off, he replied the day after saying "ticket is sent mate, should be there by Monday. Enjoy " Deep deep down inside me i had doubts but then i thought why would he make up such a cruel cruel pathetic lie!! What days it now? It's Friday! 4 days late ...!!
Had my hopes up, if it was someone else who said this then I wouldn't of got my hopes up but i thought i knew <snip> well!
Just be wary about giving your details out and don't be as thick as me!!!
<snip> - pathetic mate!

Sorry for naming and shaming! You remove it it goes on my about me, simple!
I've tried so much to get a ticket. Offered people serious money but got nowhere and then he does this to me.... out of order!
EDIT: Oh yeah i forgot, i was that confident in getting the ticket (obviously why would a mate lie) that i paid £40 pound to go up to Wembley on the coach!! Seriously <snip> has helped me with so much in my personal life but football means a lot to me and for him to do that well i will happily never speak to him again!
Anyways still 8 days!.........
You know the rules ste, put it on your about me, that'll just be removed too!

It'll be on the telly dont worry
Dont agree with the name and shame mate. Can see he let you down. And that your annoyed.
Postman cud of nicked it you never know.
FA cup final tickets are like goldust. Mate at work got offered 650 quid for it as well as getting taken out for a meal.
Biggest regret of season: not buying a season ticket.
