Lmao, durrr "carlsberg don't do thick comments, if they did they would probably do the thickest comments in the world"
Well Ronnie went out to one of the new guard of snooker, Trump wasn't at his best to be honest, nor was Ronnie, but think the best player on the day won, i'm sure the blind followers of Ronnie will disagree however...
Davis is out Carter opened up the frame which won him the match with a fluke (Steves face was a picture) and then cleared with 1 short of his century. Both Trump and Carter in the finals, hoping Higgins can join them and don't really have a favourite in the other.

Everybody saying how trump was lucky what about when ronnie fluked 3/4 positional shots once he left white in the pack then a red cam and opened them for him to get the frame.....
Everybody says how lucky some people are but they never say how lucky the looser was aswell
Forget ronnie he should retire he loves it when he is winning and hates it when he is loosing a true pro loves the game and takes everything in their stride!

Agreed and also yes Ronnie did get lucky quite a few times, but his heart wern't in it (again) to capitalise.

Wish I'd put a few quid on that now, delighted for John, as i said great pro, deserved it so much, hope theres a few more in him yet, doing the "old guard" proud
Big mention to Ryan Day though, he was awful and at 7-2 i'm thinking i hope he gets it to the mid session interval to make it more of a spectical, and in the end he almost produced one of the great fightbacks. Great final, between 2 closely matched players, which produced the excitement and tention that only John Higgins can produce.

Day had some awful luck but it evened itself I mean that fluke in the last frame was a life saver at that point, but he didnt capitalise.
