And I couldn't disagree more with the bit in bold Ronnie will never be nothing he has too much class give the man a break he obvs has family problems which screwed him up a little so what if he says he's going to quit wether he does or not what difference does it make ? If mark selby made obscene gestures with his hands, laughs in the face of chinese reporters who basically idolise him, walked out of matches, threatened to retire every tournament, he would be forced to retire. He also obviously doesn't love the game, only when hes winning and playing well.

Give me Steve Davis any day, a real snooker player, when Ronnie is 51, he will be nowhere near the class of Davis. Davis is the only player who could grind the win out like he did last night, and i found it the most enjoyable match i've seen in a long time. Tactical genious.

Where your a big davis fan i'm a huge fan of Hendry to me hes the player people should be looking up to just its like hes goneof the heat now and he just needs to come back next tourny and give it his all show people he has not lost it

Selby definately one for the future, if ronnie goes (unlikely for now), then i have no idea who will stand out from the rest, there are so many good players around.

If ronnie did retire it would open the competition right up. John Higgins is my favourite player btw, it used to be Hendry before John came along.

I also like Joe Swail, Joe Perry, Fergal Obrien, Ian McCulloch, Liang Wembo, Ding Junhui, used to like Tony Drago, John Parott and fianlly of course Steve Davis.
