And whos to say that it might not take that amount of frames?
But I don't think that it will take that many frames before the first max ( more probably 10,000 frames) because players have played original and arcade hundreds and thousands of times, therefore we are used to both table types, so this table won't take as much time to get used to.
However you and blutch make a good point, if this is introduced, is it done so to provide us with easier, bigger breaks, or to provide us with a challenge that is not to easy or not to difficult. I would say a bit of both.

I think if this is done it would help the evolution of the site and give us the oppurtunity for more challenges and bigger breaks too. Well it would surely be more popular than carom.
I would only like to see it so long as the ten ball game remains the same and the 15 ball game is a completely different game, like original is a totally different game to arcade.
I think most are in agreement that it would be a class addition to the site though.

As someone who mainly plays original, i should point out that i don't see an intermediate table harming the game in the same way the new US games wiped out the pro games on pool.
The reason for this is that whilst probably 70-90 percent of regulars willl probably play the new game for the first year or so, in time people will want to move on, and original will be a much easier progression than it is now and in that way will ultimately help make original more popular.
Sure, it may not provide such a challenge for the players who can knock in regular 147's on original, but frankly if you want a new challenge after that, moving on to a different game with no limit (like carom or straight pool) is your best option!

even if it doesnt provide much of a challenge for the people who have made a 147 its not a big thing because there is only 3 players that have made one

Sorry, but had to say something.
Back on track though the table that mikes drawn up on page 1 is what I think and always have thought when talking about 15 red arcade, think that is the same for most. That being that everything is half way between original and arcade.
