I played a player of 617 rank earlier and lost. I had a rank of approximately 770, so therefore consider myself quite good, yet beat me fair and square. How in the name of Humphrey did that happen chaps?

Such things just happen. Low-ranked can be on some particularly good form, while you are not, and it's enough to make the difference.

Once when I was around virtuoso I lost an original game to a 650. Sure I wasn't happy, but hey, that's the game, we have to lose sometimes!

As for the thread i think hes sayin he was robbed by a person ranked 617... all i would say is that if you take the risk to play such a low ranked, then you have to accept the consequences, low ranked members are entiltled to win.

no offence but you should not really be taking the risks to play 600+s obviously you are expected to win but you didnt it happens to all i was 895 and lost to a 600 and i payed the consequences but finally i got the virt

it happens to everyone if you dont wanna lose so many point's play higher ranked people than you or player's around the same rank

i was playin im becoz i thought it wud be easy to half cent against while gettin about 1 point a game !

ive played virtuso's and ive played low ranks nd this low rank played like a virt he play amazing shots good safety !

and i only missed about 3 shots the whole game so it wasnt me who was playin bad !

There is nothing to back up. You lost to someone who happened to be having a good day. Like has already been said, don't take the risk if you can't take the consequences.

I did the same thing a couple of month ago when i was 940, lost to a low 600 who was playing good. It happens and it just shows you anything can happen on this game.

There's actually nothing wrong with a low ranked player playing like a virtuoso. You can search the whole help for it, it's not forbidden!

It happens also in the other way, I sometimes play like a 600-ranked player... and there's nothing wrong with that either.

As for losing while playing good, that also happens quite often to me. You just need your opponent to be on good form and/or lucky, so that globally during one frame you're outplayed... and no matter what rank both players are.

Based on what you're saying if i played a 660 rank or whatever and played absolutely terrible and lost it would also mean i was cheating..which just wouldn't be the case everyone has good and bad days!

If your point is that you were cheated, then everyone agrees that you are wrong about it. Its only 1 game. Its always possible to get back to where you was before the match.
