Your point is obvious from the title of the thread, you think you were cheated. We get your point, but your point s wrong, you wern't cheated, you were defeated. Get over it!

How do you expect for this player to have cheated? Moved the balls when you weren't looking? There's nothing members of this website can do to cheat their way into winning a game...

true you will just have to accept it mate ive been in this occasion plenty of times where i have been a virtuoso and lost to a low 600 it depends what form you are in. Even virtuoso's can play like 600's sometimes, Plus i cant see a way of cheating on this game so personally i dont know where you have got that from mate.

It's also worth remembering that a lot depends on how the balls fall during the game, especially on arcade.

A good player may start a break and get a clear area around the black, with a few nicely positioned reds, then make a simple error.

Even the most average of players can score a winning break when the way is clear, and it doesn't matter how good you are if you're not the one playing

i dont understand how people can say , "i played him to get an easy half" , its only the first ball he can give you , you yourself have to do the rest without his input. just as easy to put half in against a virt as it is to a beginner!

Well i was cheated and the player was <name removed>
for some reason he has the same time as me 10seconds but how does he hold the play up for maybe 20seconds some times even longer, this is not far to other players he was losing so he had to cheat.Can this holding up the time thing be stopped?

Erm first thing, you are not allowed to name and shame so I would edit your post to remove the name ! Secondly If I understand you correctly "lag" can cause delays in the timer clock. If someone is not responding the server allows them time to re-connect so you could see your timer at 0 for a little while and then there shot is taken. Search for threads on lag and it will be explained better for you.


On the original post, rank is not necessarily an indication of skill. Say someone has been playing for two years but hardly ever plays ranked games, they could easily have the skill of a "virt" just not the rank.

Peter, there is no way that anyone can cheat on this game, surely the rest of the thread should have shown you that?

When it appears that the person is taking longer than the time limit, it's because your opponent's computer has to communicate through the internet through to yours, this can take time depending on the connection and everything, so while it may appear they are taking longer than the time limit is.

No one person on this website has a way to go over the time limit.

To elaborate, when you see their timer on your screen, its only an indicator. Their shot has to travel from their computer, to the server, and back to your computer. Depending on connections speeds, this can take anywhere from a few seconds to a few minutes. This is why it looks like the time ran out. However, on their screen, they took the shot in due time.

only way to cheat in my opinion is to use multiple accounts.

but that can lead to your account getting banned if you get found out so i wouldnt advise it.



and yes i agree with you Tom because there is no way you can cheat with the shot timer for the reasons in Toms post

silly forum...at high 800s ive been beaten by 700s so why cant u be beaten by 600s?rank doesnt make you invincible
