Great addition Nick... Appreciate all the work that's gone into it!!
As regards the new spin, don't really mind it either way, but, it definitely has to be consistent across all games.
I find I've developed a 'feel' for the old spin and can judge it quite well; while i'm sure i'll develop the same 'feel' for the new spin, i'd imagine as I start to rely more on instinct with the new spin, transference between the different spins will become difficult, therefore making transference between different types of games difficult....

If you gave pool our spin I bet it would go down like a lead balloon, for me it would be a turn off, it is ok for Regular snooker cos its a new game, and the novelty has not yet worn off, that is what i think.
Snooker spin is naturally different to pool spin anyway on the grounds of the balls dynamics and the thinner cloth.
It would be a mistake to change it totally i reckon.

I think it's wildly unrealistic that you can spin it so much with hardly any cue action, hence why I'd like to change it.
Also with this more realistic spin you can generate greater power for spin when you're far away from the secondary ball.

Tournaments will occur after any bugs/problems are ironed out, however it's already used in overall rankings.

What I'm disapointed with is the new ranking change. What's going to happen to the max rank? I completely disagree with this.

In order to make the spin even more realistic, don't you think that we could increase the side spin's power?
I don't have any personal playing experience, but from my TV watching experience, there are some typical shots that are still impossible here because of the weak side spin. For example, potting the blue ball with top+side or bottom+side spin to go around the table.

Great addition nick! It's certainly got me back from my childish moody state about funkysnooker. I think overall it has turned out great and i'll enjoy trying to get a max on this.

the balls r not perfectly rounded as in arcade and original it is making hexagonal or sometime octagonal shape

The game window is resizeable, at certain sizes the balls may not scale well. You may wish to read this to improve your table:

I will reset everyone's maximum ranking values when people have reached the new values.

How about reset all the rankings but keep the other stats with them, would be nice to see how people would get up and who would be top.

The other change is that the ranking scale factor for the snooker games has been reduced (sorry buddytobud!) because it is currently too easy to reach virtuoso.
Definately no need to apologise LOL. The program is fully configurable (in anticipation of just such changes) and will involve a couple of simple edits to incorporate the changes (including the name changes and new game type) and a quick rebuild.
Although the changes will only take approx. 5 mins, they won't be implemented until the New Year (because I'm away on my Christmas Hols at the moment)
I look forward to getting back so I can a have a good go at the new updates - look great to me!
