OK I seriously love the new spin on arcade it is brilliant! So much more realistic and suits me perfectly. Iam unbeaten with the new spin ;) including tourny win.

And as promised you can now get to top cushion from a pink played from the D! Perfect Nick, excellent improvement

Just because it hasn't gone your way isn't going to do anything, you just need to get used to it like everyone else.

It is alot more realistic and a challenge

Totally agree with you hear mate. It wont be long before arcade dies in my opinion. I thought we was a snooker site to be honest, but then again i knew it would'nt be long before pool left there footprint over here.

The thing about the "old" spin is it was so MADE for arcade. It's an arcade game so why the realistic spin? Fair enough for regular and original, but arcade... worst mistake changing it for me. Also the new point system, dislike it. And im not nagging nick, im just saying it seems now we got two pool sites instead of one.

I don't see any benefit in having unrealistic spin, nor any reason why it will affect number of users on arcade.

The rest of these posts seems to be aimed at looking down on funkypool which is just puerile.

The only game that has been affected by the new spin across all the games is regular, less games now and more on arcade and orig since the new spin got added, so the numbers have been affected, but not the way you are saying it.

Well I for one want be moving of regular for a every long time, i love it

Thanks for the feedback Nick. I never looked down at pool, i know that funkypool is the sister site and you have worked hard to make it what it is today. I just suppose i'm one of the few that has an opinion on the new changes to funkysnooker.

For instance, why change something that does'nt need to be changed? Fair enough we asked for regular or "15 red arcade" as we called it from the beginning. But the spin? Yeah I know you wanted it to be more realistic, but is'nt it an online game?

I guess what i'm trying to say is funkysnooker was funkysnooker, everyone knew the difference between the two sites. And now it has changed drastically for me since the changes.

I wont say any more on the matter as i guess it's getting up your nose to be honest, but i just wanted you to know my opinion. Thanks

Its still funkysnooker, just because of the spin its completley different? Only takes a bit of getting used to.

Making it as realistic as possible without reducing the fun aspect of the site is a always a target. I don't see why the new spin would be any more or less fun, but it is definitely more realistic.

im afraid i think im gonna stop playin this game now all the fun's gone out of it, i thought the spin before was alot more realistic for a game, the new spin maybe more realistic towards the game of snooker but this has taken the fun out of it.I played about 30 games with the new spin and the flukes are alot heavier and the safety play from snookers or gettin snookers has completely dissapeared, this aint a rant or diggin the new sytle just aint for me

The game is based (and to somewhat a simulation) on a real snooker game. And you simply can't just tap a red and screw back almost the entire length of the table in real life, unless you and stupidly talented, and even then I think it would be pretty tough.

The new spin affects everyone, and everyone's style of playing. It's not something only you have to adjust to. So I fail to see how this can effect the number of flukes in a game!
