i think the new rank has made it impossible for the former highest ranks to be beaten therefore i pose to ask if they could be reset and the highest ranked people now could have a annoucment on the forum where it says GAME ANNOUCMENTS. thanks

Nick is planning this once the ranks have settled down a bit, then the maximum ranking table will be reset, ill find the quote.

yeh it will ste everything will be gone, the maxiums like your 996 and others will be gone on the aracde rankings maxium section

Everyone has had the chance to get that rank, so why complain wee_wheels? If you didn't deactivate every 2 minutes you might have had a chance! It may be very hard to ever reach that rank again but who's problems that when they have had their chance to reach it but failed! Don't change it, it's still possible to get there again!!!

Exactly. There has been such a long time where the rankings have been normal and people have reached ranks that they are going to find very hard to get to again, wether the rankings are like they are now or the way they were in the past.

Surely we could keep our maximum rankings on our profile and then the tables with the max ranks are kept up with the new update? And then on your profile it says wether you got that rank pre or post update.

Im confused here. i thought only original was changed, so why would arcade be effected? I do not think highest ranks should be changed

If you do this Nick the game is false as it will be not showing the right outcome, I'm 996.4 and if that gets taken away and says for example Mr_107 960 highest ranking then thats obviously false! Because the highest ever ranking is obviously me and I'm sure Kaison or pepsi will not like this either!

If you do this you might as well reset all the 107's and centuries as it's a new game with the new spin so maybe they should all change too!!!

we have some really good updates already such as regular snooker. The arcade rankings should not changed beacuse ste_efc has done So well to get 996, if they change they should change in the way toontomh suggested

In my opinion don't change it at all! It's what 3 years? And you decide to change it now, thats 3 years and millions of games worth to try and achieve the highest ranking! You normally change things after numerous complaints about something, i don't think anyone has complained about the current Arcade ranking whats in place now. I understand why you want to change it as i agree it is very easy to become a virtuoso but that doesn't have to mean change the highest ranking.

ste has worked so hard to get that high rank pepsi and kaison, so they should get it takeing away from them

I agree. However,i think it is too easy to reach the highest status as in i reached virtuoso before i even understood what the side spins did, so how can that be right?? The solution to this, as a side topic, would be to implement a new status beyond virtuoso say at 950 like "all time great " or "legend" or something like that. Just an idea but it would mean we could move back to the old weighting. It's not ideal, but i think it would be more popular as an idea than re-setting everyones max ranks!

Pieceofpig, that won't happen am sure. He will change the rankings to the way "regular" is at the moment we know that already. But there is no need to even think about changing the top 10 highest ranking because after all that is the highest ever rankings achieved on this site right? So as I've said it would be false to change it!

yes he did boz lad got 996.8 and sean paul 996.9 but read up 997 on the game! but you wouldnt remember your not old school enough!

Well I do see where you are coming from, but if they must be changed, then i think the ranks will have to be re-set, otherwise someone could go on an even more impressive winning run but not end up with the record rank, and they would think that more unfair. If records stand, then it must be possible to break them
