I thought I would mention this as it has happened to me a couple of times now, no more annoying than yesterday.
I was in a tournament match and had won the frame, was on for my first century with most of the colours pottable apart from one and i think one red left.
Then my opponent leaves the room and my break is ended as i have progressed through to the next round because they left the room. I dont think this is fair and needs looking at.

I think it is really unfair that your break is ended. I don't think it is necessary and i would say a century break would be more important to me than a tourney win.

or a max for that matter it is a shame and wish it could be fixed so you could check time as your going along but it wont get changed, trust me

Post on the other thread please. And like I've said before, it would be useful if the break was stopped on the one minute warning, instead of straight away.

disgrace happened to me there, 2 times in 2 days, whats the need for this,if the time for the round is running out, surely you'd have the sense to miss in order to win anyway:s?????????????

For some, a tourny may be more important than a cent.

but if you are on the cent and you get a 1minute warning you'll miss so you dont go out?

What if you don't look at the chat area and don't realise?

If you're bothered about high breaks, then play ranked/friendly games. If you want to win tournaments, play tournaments. Simple.

no not simple, simple in your opinion damee, doesnt make you right? At the end of the day , if someone wants to finish their break then they should be allowed to as it would stop "petty arguments" like mine and love_its above. I did it by accident but it cost him a century, and if someone playing a tourny didnt look at the chat box then thats their fault, that it a far more simpler solution.

i agree with deadend, atleast if they didnt read the chatbox they can blame themselves, instead of blaming others.definately should be changed,why cant people make breaks in tournaments and win them as well?i chatted to nick and he said to talk about it more on forums which i am trying to do as it should be changed,its really giving the opponent, who is losing a way of getting one over on you, by leaving and making you lose your break.
