Back to the Ronaldo topic, it is downhearting to sell one of your best players but as a Utd fan I don't think we could baulk at the offers coming in any longer and 80 million is a hell of a lot of money. As for whether we will struggle or not that remains to be seen however, it's good that maybe we can build a team around Rooney instead of accomadating Ronaldo by sticking Rooney wide as Ronaldo doesn't track back. Let's get Rooney more central as he has been for England and give him the credit he deserves at Utd as we still haven't had the benefit of his best form because he is constantly out of position. If we buy will which we normally do, apart from a few exceptions a few seasons ago, then we should be challenging for major honours again next season. Valencia looks like a done deal but as for a few others that Sir Alex brings in we shall have to wait and see as there are too many names being thrown around. Still unsure about Berbatov though, he hasn't started many big games which does worry me a little that maybe Sir Alex doesn't trust him, or feel he offers as much as his expectations brought with him.

And where did you get that from? he aint signed yet. Not that i have heard. Everyone is after him. I'd love to see him on the red side of liverpool though that wont happen. Quality player.
A spanish newspaper has printed the story this morning, I'll wait til a more reliable source prints the story. BBC or SS.

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson is planning to use some of the £80m raised by the sale of Cristiano Ronaldo to launch a shock raid for Liverpool striker Fernando Torres.
Mwhahahaha, and Fergie knows it
Trouble is, as if we'd sell him to United, and as if he would go

Heres some Everton gossip (kinda...)
Striker Michael Owen's management company has sent out a 34-page brochure, highlighting his goal-scoring skills and commercial value, to eight Premier League clubs as he looks to resurrect his career following Newcastle's relegation from the Premier League.
Aston Villa, Portsmouth, Everton and West Ham are four of the clubs to have received the document.

The thing with that is, all that those clubs will have to do is look at video evidence over the past 6 months to find out what his goal scoring skills are really like.
I'd happily take him to wherever he's going, can't stand him.

18 minutes gone and Torres has his hat-trick already. This game is embarrassing for New Zealand...
Edit: 4-0 after 24 minutes, men against boys here.
