Have you seen the list of players that Real Madrid have apparently touted around clubs to raise some more funds. Quite a few has-beens and decent players in there, van nistlerooy, sneijder, robben, huntelaar who they have recently signed, the other diarra, heinze, drenthe and saviola. A lot of dutch players there, anyone reckon a few could still do a decent job in the premier league, I have always rated sneijder quite highly and robben, but robben is temperamental and goes missing in a dog fight.

Cameroon international Stephane Mbia has claimed Everton are planning a summer swoop for his services.

Reports in France suggest the Toffees are planning to table an offer in the region of €12million (£10million) for the 23-year-old defensive midfielder.

Mbia, who plays his club football for Rennes, admits he is interested in a move to the Premier League.

Fully aware of his desire to leave, the Ligue 1 club are believed to have placed a €14million price tag on their prized asset.

Toffees boss David Moyes is expected to sign a handful of players to bolster his small squad having been constantly hampered by injuries last term.
