What a dull game so far. Torres spending more time rolling on the floor than playing and man u hardy looking like a threat at all. If it stays like this, it has 0-0 written all over it.
Watching Reina kicking the beach balls off the pitch was more exciting

Klinsmann Mike? :S
The guy is beyond useless.
Well what a game, dominated for most parts, proper cheered me up that has.
Lets see what happens from here, 4 points behind united is nothing now, but we got to become more consistent.
Btw, Lucas was clear MOTM today, took Carrick and Scholes bang out the game.
Michael Owen - Once a manc, never a red!! N where were you in Istambul!!?!?!?
Quality chants!!! Any decent Liverpool fan has to see it as their duty to hate that mercenary
Kop throwing balls onto the pitch - lmaooo made Utd fans look stupid, 1-0 to the kop!!!
David Ngog > Michael Owen.
Lmaoooo, what a game, watched it with 4 manc fans and a misguided celtic supporter cheering for them!!! Was best game I've ever seen, the looks on their faces, as David Ngog slots home the winner. Priceless!!!!
3 in 3 for Vidic though, Torres had him on edge all game, and Rio as well!!!
Adidas_orig, don't be bitter, out most influential player was sat in the stands today, as was he and Torres last year when we beat the mancs.
Lucas though!!! :O What a game!!!

He has a point though, against Sunderland and Lyon from what I've seen and heard you were not very good at all, and who was missing? Torres and Gerrard. Without them two Liverpool really do appear to be lost most the time.

Well Lucas Was Ok, Although He Missed A Few Killer Balls, But Was Alot Better Than Usual, But That Wasn't A Hard Improvement.
Little Isreali Beneyoun Was My MOTM, Created Everything And Kuyt Ran His Socks To Tear And You Gotta Hand It To Torres, Showed Lack Of Interest And Signs Of Lacking Match Fitness But He's A No Nonsense Professional And Does The Business, Thats What Makes Him One Of The Best.
Was A Perfect Week For Chelsea Football Wise As None Of The Top 8 Won Besides Us
And What A Great Performance It Was By The Mighty Chels, Be Scared, Be Very Scared Altho I Had 4-0 Chelsea And Lampard/Drogba To Score First Which If You Discount The Own Goal My Bet Wins At 50/1 For My £2 Bet
Gooooooood Weeek

I don't think this is true at all, if you look back on last season neither played often, about 15 times in the whole season together and we only lost twice. It is very easy to say that, but I don't think either would have saved us in them games, the rest were just awful.
If it were true then united have just lost to a 2 man team 3 times, in 1 both were out, and another Gerrard.
It seems to me a problem of Alonso role not being filled in competently, but hopefully that will change.
I think we shown we are far more than a 2 man team today though, of course people will choose to look at the fact Torres scored, but not see that Carra was back on top form, Lucas had his best game in a Liverpool shirt, Mascherano was back to his best - k he got sent off, but was brilliant until then. Agger Just slotted back in there brillaintly as well.
I think it will prove to be to late, I think I now blame Rafa for being to cautious rather than the players themselves.
Mike, Klinnsmanns managerial record speaks for himself - complete failure. :S

If he came in charge - not that he ever, ever will -
Hugeeee mistake right there for a start, to speak directly to that "newspaper"
Anyway, there is a reason Bayern sacked him before the end of last season, and he is a legend in germany, so will have been given extra time.
It will never happen, not least because the daily mail reported it.
need a competent manager, not somebody who is stirring things up in the media in the vain hope of getting called up by the clueless yanks. But then, I doubt they would make that mistake again.
Anyway Rafa is the gaffer for now, and probs will be till he himself decides to leave, and if given the option of the 2 its rafa allday everyday.
Klinsmann has nowhere near the pedegree to manage in the premier league, let alone Liverpool.

Klinsmann was shocked by Liverpool's defeat to Lyon this week but added in The Sun: 'I think a tie in Lyon and if you beat Fiorentina at home that will probably put you through. Nothing's lost yet.
'It's a difficult moment for Rafa. Maybe the game on Sunday is the right one to beat Manchester United at home to turn the situation around.'

Course I do, you moron. We won frig all for the first 10 years of my life.
When did I say rafa should stay, when???
Go on when?
when mate, when? Can you tell me when??
All I said is that I think Rafa is better than Klinnsmann, and if you knew your stuff, you would no that that is correct.
Its alright supporting Liverpool, but if you don't understand the sport as a whole then your then your nothing, and am peeing against the wind if I even bother trying to educate you
Look at my pic you moron, do I support Liverpool through thick and thin? Look at the pic.
Go on though, tell me where I changed my mind.
*Is so tempted to swear at this muppet* Been to a protest have you mate? I bet you don't even no what you were protesting about. That is why protests don't work, to many tag along people who aint got a clue, just swept up in the media storm and go along with it.
What a numpty.

All you have to do is read mate, then you wouldn't have to make yourself look stupid.

1) Stats like that are misleading, they don't win you titles. The world of football has changed dramatically. I'm sure you are aware that it is only recently 3 points has been given for a win.
2) In my quote I said I blame Rafa for his cautious approach. So how is that "oh hes not to bad. I complimented the team yesterday and said he was better than Klinnsmann. Are you going to deny that!?
3) Read Carras book twice, as I have Rush, Gerrard, Dalglish and Fergusons.
The reason Owen left was fine, I was fine with that, again just look back, I felt sorry for him, that he was stuck at newcastle. Going to United is bad enough, saying that when Fergie called he was only ever going to one club, saying that United were the bigger club, saying he would celebrate if he scored, and considering he is one of the biggest mercenries in football today. That is why I dislike Owen so much.
At the end of the day, Owens career is in ruin, compared to what he was, the guy is just another premier league striker.
The media will tell you different, but that signing is in no way genius. It was an ok deal for an ok player.
