2- I'm not sure how I'd feel if Newcastle got taken over by foreign multi-billionaires. At the moment I'd take anyone to get Mike Ashley away, but if we were already in a stable situation, just going out and buying loads of top players may seem attractive in the short-term, but just simply buying success like Chelsea have done and Man City are trying isn't something I like.

Your "football is business" part is what summed it up, it never used to be, it used to be a sport, but now the teams with the money are the teams that tend to do better and that's not how it should be.

Why should the way a team does in a sport be determined by the money that they have? I suppose that being in the Championship is a refreshing break from all that, anyone can beat anyone in this league and there aren't any games when you can be pretty much sure which team will win. At the start of the season any team could be involved in a promotion or a relegation battle. The title challengers, Champions League teams, relegation battlers are pretty much pre-determined in the Premier League and the main reason for that is down to money.

Also, the fact that you'll be hard pushed to find a fan of a Football League team without links to that team compared to the likelihood of a Man Utd/Arsenal/Liverpool/Chelsea (Not so much the latter with their success only coming over the last few years, but I do know someone who changed from Newcastle to Chelsea within the first year and a half of their take-over and he wont be the only one) actually having any sort of association with the football club other than calling themselves a 'fan' appears to be rarer to come accross than someone who actually does.
