Mike your comment about the rangers and celtic + relgion and racism scenario... its very fragile and you cant really come out with that comment, you probally dont no the full story?
I no the rangers songs and im a rangers fan, its a tradition, and why does everything have to be so politically correct these days, i think its a complete nonsense.
It is nothing to do with political correctness. It is 2 sets of ignorrant fans fighting amongst each other, Christians fighting Christians, Scottish fighting Scottish, Glasgow fighting Glasgow, because I bet most of the Celtic fans chanting yesterday had no idea why that was, they just felt like tagging along with the fundementalists.
Yesterday occured because Celtic fans have no respect for the Brittish Army, in fact they despise the Brittish Army because of one incident involving a guy known as Aiden MacAnespie who was killed by the Brittish Army in very dodgy circumstances. That was their basis, that and the fact they do not want to be Brittish in the first place, and see themselves as being under rule from London.
That being said, this was little more than a few fundemental Irish Catholics who like to play the victim card, backed up by drunk kids. At the end of the day 60 seconds is not a big ask, even if you disagree with the principle.
To say you support either side is shocking, there is no right side in this, both are as bad as each other. Ignorrance breeds contempt.

They are a disgrace, utter disgrace. Undefendable and should be made to play behind closed doors for the rest of the season, maybe give them an ounce of integrity back.
Utter disgrace
Utter disgrace

Well ovbiously i agree it was terrible. i dispise celtic anyway but that is like nuts said 'Undefendable'.
They should recieve the maximum punishment. Its celtic tho that have done this, and not rangers to my knowledge. sdo why you mention rangers i dont no.
Well its all down to politics tho Mike, Religion and politics are exactly the same thing in context.
they dont want to part of the british isles and want to be reconized as its own country, Alll Politics.
Bottom line, Celtic were out of order, i would like to see what their fans have to say...Lets hope 1 posts

I work in a pub where a lot of punters follow Celtic, and speaking to them yesterday they were ALL ashamed of it.
As for the Rangers bit I heard they were at it too just as much as Celtic.

Having been a season ticket holder at aberdeen the past 5 years I have been to my fair share of Aberdeen vs Old firm games. In my experience, them two sets of fans are appalling, they start their political/religious chants without any provocation at all. Half of the away crowd are probably from Aberdeen aswell.

Well i've been to ibrox a few times and the songs are anti celtic songs. They are anti IRA and anti Catholic...i think its just the principal that they hate eachother so much they cants see the harm they are doing to anyone else.
Europe Took action against rangers for their song "Bouncy" for relgious reasons, i dont think the scottish FA can cope with the old firm teams as i think the 2 teams are bigger than the scottish FA, without them, wouldnt be much of a league so dont want to upset the 2 teams.
If rangers fans did ruin the 1 minute silence i am shocked and disappointed to say the least.

i am now sitting watching a once great club cheat to try a get a draw at home to birmingham city
rafa demolition man benitez has not only dismantled a team, but an entire football club.
bye bye liverpool - your days are now well and truly numbered

Thats the way of the 'usual' top four i'm afraid. Drogba, C.Ronaldo, Edwardo etc
Would you expect anything less at Anfield? Still, a draw at home against Brum is hardly a decent result is it?

Getting touchy? He's right, you really have shrunk to have to cheat to get a draw against Birmingham City. Then again, I seem to remember a bit of cheating a couple of years ago against Sheffield Utd to scrape a result

Behave Tom, I thought you knew your onions on that. gerrard dove against Sheffield Utd and shot at the same time? Nahhhh don't think so. Was just a bad call.
Was a pretty incredible game, watched it with 2 scousers and 2 brummies. Haha, both went home pretty pleased, as benitez goal looked offside, and Lucas never fouled for the free kick to be given in the first place.
Dunno why ngog jumped over the tackle actually, the everton reject clearly missed the ball all he had to do was run into him. Oh well, forgive me if I don't lose any sleep over Lee Carsley
Mucko that is probably the most cliche biggest pile of over the top nonsense I've read. A once great team being demolished by Benitez or something.... What The F...? You fancy yourself as some sort of newspaper journalist there?
