Chris Hughton may have done some decent transfer dealings for us this window, but tactically he hasnt' got a clue. He plays Guthrie as a winger despite Routledge & Jonas being available, he continues to play Butt and brings Nolan & Smith off for subs instead of Butt. He also has Jonas and Pancrate sitting on the bench, who does he bring on? Pancrate. He plays Ameobi/Carroll up front alone at away games.

It's just as well the standard in the Championship is shocking because put up against half decent teams we'd be slaughtered. Lack of quality in the squad wont help either but Hughton has his favourites and no matter how badly they actually play he constantly sticks with them.

We played awful tonight, Leicester ran us around for 80 minutes of the game and the only time we looked half threataning was in the last 10 mins. Jonas should of been started along with Ranger and Carroll up front. Butt is a waste of space most of the time and is too old to be playing in a high tempo game like that was....

What's worse about Leicester running around us for 80 minutes is that they played with 10 men for 60! I know Jonas got a little knock on wednesday but it said on the website that he was fine, so I don't get sticking him on the bench. Then again, he might have been tired considering how much he's played and the effort he's putting in, but putting him on for that last 15 mins instead of Pancrate isnt going to do any harm.

Butt has been past it for a couple of years now but always seems to be around the first 11, it's just like Ameobi, when is a manager going to realise he's actually useless?

Playing with one striker is bad enough, but when you play with just Carroll up front we're going to create nothing. He'll win the headers, but there's no-one to head on to. He has a horrible first touch as well.

My dad got invited to go down today and I was a bit jealous this morning when he was heading off, but I can safely say I'm not gonna to upset I didnt go now! Just as well Forest lost, I know we've got games in hand but I can't remember seeing us actually play well this season and unless we pick it up we're gonna be in serious trouble for promotion.
