I think i no very little about the incident but...
I no what happened and yes it was a tragedy, but what is "these files" dont think i understand something important.

From BBC NEWS last year.
Secret files on the Hillsborough disaster could be made public 10 years early after a request from the home secretary.
Jacqui Smith has asked South Yorkshire Police to release the documents, which contain detailed evidence of what happened during the tragedy in 1989.
It could help families of the 96 victims who want a new inquiry.
Ms Smith plans to meet South Yorkshire Chief Constable Meredydd Hughes to discuss the records.
'Full picture'
Trevor Hicks, of the Hillsborough Families Support Group, said: "I am pleased, it's better late than never.
"This will enable us to see the full picture of events in a way that we have been denied for 20 years.
"It is vital that these files are released in full and not sanitised in anyway."
He also requested that the families are given time to view the documents before they are made public.
"Some of the documents are bound to contain information about the manner in which our loved ones died, their medical conditions and so on.
"I think it's best if we learn of that ourselves and not through other parties."
Culture secretary Andy Burnham was heckled as campaigners shouted "Justice for the 96" at the Hillsborough memorial service on Wednesday.
Following the service, he called for "full disclosure" of all evidence on the Hillsborough disaster.
they are basically the files that should have been released to the public about 20 years ago, - hopefully the unedited ones.

Right, why were the files never released?
And what is the benefit of them being released?
Man im confused.
Seems like a massive rant with loads of pain and emotion behind it, bcoz they are holding onto it.
Some things need to be remembered i agree, but for some people its also best to forget.
Whilst this campaign continues for the families who seek justice for their beloved ones, there will also be families that are constantly reminded of an event where they lost the ones they loved. Reminded of pain and suffering, something they dont want to be reminded of .
If i lost someone to something like this, i dont see what good this would do for the person i lost, i would think im being selfish bcoz i couldnt let go, and to save the memory of that person, i would move on the best way i could.
Im not being harsh here, just putting my opinion accross & fgs dont take it the wrong way and be up in my face for it lol.

Anyway! On a Brighter note!
Man City v Man Utd - Desperate for City to do us a huge favour today, think the game will be a cracker, with goals sliding tackles and as always when United are playing...Dodgey reffing decisions! For this game i predict a 2-2 or City to pinch it 2-1/3-1.
Tottenham v Chelsea - In form Chelsea side travel to White Hart Lane to face London rivals Tottenham (who lets not forget play this game off the back of beating Arsenal). Gomes played really well, but i dont think he can keep the might of Chels from scoring. I Fancy a 3-1 Chelsea or chelsea to win by 2 goals.
Birminham v Hull - Hull battling to avoid relegation but i dont see them getting anything from Birmingham, i think the game will be tight for the first half, but then Birmingham will get the result. 2-0 to the brummies.

I think alot of the reason they want the files to be released is to gain closure. 20 years they have wondered how exactly their love ones died and why exactly it happened. Maybe they will regret gaining that knowledge but if it was me I would like to know. Its also about the greater purpose of getting justice for loved ones.
Example, if your loved one was murdered, you would like to know who did it and have them punished? Somehow dont believe you would just forget about them and move on
thats how i see it anyway.
good luck with that lotto bet it hasnt a hope its 400-1 for a reason
did a similar bet last year, 50 bets, 2000-1 odds approximately, over a range of sports, 49 of them won and the one i thought was a dead cert lost.

Cant believe tottenham are playing well its a complete joke.
Man Utd get a 93rd minute goal, and tottenham play well?
Since when have tottenham been able to play well, they have been disgusting all season and when its too late they try and play well.
Penalty i personally dont think it was a pen and i think the ref only gave it bcoz all the white shirts stuck there arm up at once and i think bcoz it was John Terry, after recent weeks where its struck his arm, the ref was giving anything.
Lampards volley just been saved by Gomes, ridiculosly good save. If Gomes played like he has last week and today then he would be top 3 keepers in the world.
2-0 down at half time, not over yet but im not exactly holding my breath for a result.
Come on Chels, lets try and give them something to think about!

That is exactly it, the families want the truth, and the truth to be released officially, that would be the first step, they then want to take the issue back to court and a retrial, and a verdict of unlawful killing instead of accidental death.
I don't think this will ever happen, but I know some of the families are prepared to continue till their dying day.
Not all the families attend or are part of HJC or HFSG, and I can see why really, for some it is easier to let go.
The problem is simple, it should have been dealt with 20 years ago, it was obvious certain people were to blame, a charge of groce negligance would have most probably sufficed.
Now we are talking of murder, manslaughter and perverting the course of justice.

Never tempt fate!

I still think a long as we are top we are favorite, but ffs...
Why does this cap always happen?
And you just 100% KNOW Tottenham will return to their old ways and be aberloutly pathetic against United next game, and i bet Utd hammer them too.
Chelsea's best news is that Torres is out for the remaining of the season.
Chelsea fixtures -
Chelsea v Stoke - 25th april
Liverpool v Chelsea - 2nd May
Chelsea v Wigan - 9th May
Man United fixtures -
Man United v Tottenham - 24th April
Sunderland v Man United - 2nd May
Man United v Stoke - 9th May
I think we have the easier team with Stoke, but Liverpool away is always tricky. I guess it would be great if Tottenham can do us a favour and more importantly try. After beating Chelsea and Arsenal i dont want them to be thinking "well we got 6/9 points, more than expected" they are in the dirivng seat for fourth place now so they need to pump it up!
Also Steve Bruce just bends over for Fergie so i doubt he will even field a goalkeeper in the Sunderland game!!
But! If Chelsea win their games...they win he league.
Simples...
Also Wigan < hopefully they will be safe now as they beat Arsenal, so they wont be trying as hard against us!
