As a AVFC-Holland i can say that Villa wont be pos 4.
Overrated team with strongest part central defence (Collins/Dunne).
In midfield and up front by far not good enough for pos 4.
I rate Spurs, Man City and even Everton higher.
Liverpool is so unpredictable...cant give them a value.

But a good season for Villa for sure.

Villa will always be the nearly men, even if they finish 4th they won't qualify for the champions league proper.

2nd Half performance was a champion performance i feel.

Well deserved victory and we had the best chances.

With no Torres, G.J and having played 120 minutes thursday plus not needing to win (realistically) i was quietly confident we would win!

Had Drogba 2-0 and Drogba 3-1 & Bet chelsea to win with minus 1 goal handicap, i thought we'd win by 2!

Hi everyone, new to forums

I'm a St Mirren fan (play in the SPL for any of the ignorant people out there). Great result away to Falkirk on Saturday, went down to ten men before half time, conceded a penalty. Looked like we were going to lose until Stephen O'Donnell pops up at the back post on 86 minutes, heads it in, and sends us mental! Some of our fans at the front broke the ad boards while at the back we just hugged everything we saw. 1-1 looks like enough to keep us in the SPL and go for our 5th season up there.

The only way we can go down is getting hammered 7-0 midweek, Kilmarnock winning 5-0 and Falkirk winning 8-0, and then Killie and Falkirk drawing against each other on the final day, while we'd have to lose on the final day as well. So we are pretty much safe, final away game on Wednesday as we travel to Hamilton

St Mirren are mathematically safe now after a 0-0 draw away to Hamilton last night. Saints were the better side but Hamilton were always in the game. We finish the season on Saturday at home to Aberdeen, a win or draw should make 10th place ours, depending on the big game at the weekend - Kilmarnock vs Falkirk.

Falkirk were in this exact same situation last season where they had to win to stay up. Last season they won 1-0 up at Inverness, and I reckon they can pull it off again away to Kilmarnock. Both teams are awful, but I think Falkirk have an advantage being the away side, the fans will get in the stadium early and get right behind the players. Relegation would be huge for Kilmarnock, as they are already around 11m pounds in debt, an amount they are struggling to deal with.

I don't mind either of the sides, I'd rather have seen St Johnstone or Hamilton go down. Main thing is that we are safe.
