Just about still in it, Oz are 4 down, 50 ahead, need to pick up quick quick wickets now and keep em to a 100 lead.

See if we kept them to a 100 lead, they would of needed to chase 200. But as it is, 1-1, they are effectively winning though, as a draw is good enough for them to win the ashes.

But, did you know that the ashes never elave England? If England win they go to the museum at Lords, if Oz win, it goes to the museum at Lords...

Can't trust convicts with such a valuable piece of sporting tradition now can we

Didn't see it today due to work, but Aussies all out 160 yesterday. Couple of decisions our way but some quality bowling by broad and swann.

Aussies set target of over 500 in last innings (can't remember exact figure). We have a very very good chance!

Aussies need a score of 546 (i think) which would be by far a record run chase for the 4th innings of a test match in history. Couple wickets before Lunch tomorrow should put us off to a great start. Though i don't expect an Assie collapse to be as drastic/entertaining () as the 1st.

Decisions have been a bit iffy this match. definitely a couple Aussie wickets weren't out but Collingwood wasn't out in our second innings as the ball he was out to was a No ball.

Although great umpiring decision on the 1st ball today with Trott on 8 i believe. Looked clear Trott had edged it and looked so easily OUT. Then saw the reply it had just missed the bat and flicked of his thigh and the noise was his Bat clipping his other leg.

Who knows where we'd have been if that decision had given incorrectly.

C'MON ENGLAND!

Please let Freddie have a 5 wicket haul!

It looks like the pressure is on Swanny to get the wickets, nothing happening for the quicks in the air or off the pitch. Can see Freddie taking the last wicket, not a 5fer though.

Think Colly needs to bowl a few cutters as well tomorrow, that could be dangerous stuff, especially at 70mph... he needs a few wickets to take pressure off for those questioning his place.

The time has come for the team to stand up and bring the ashes back home!!

2 quick wickets tomorrow and the stuffing will be knocked out of them, they will win if they can bat 5 sessions, but that is a big big ask even with their start.

I think we will have the ashes by close of play tomorrow.

I don't know, if this healthy looking partnership doesn't end quickly and we don't have them all out by end of the day they can just bat out monday for a draw. Therefore, they win the ashes.

More than just Freddie that has MBE. The whole 2005 team got them so i guess himself, Straussy, Bell, KP, and Harmy already have them.

Maybe they'll get OBE's instead whilst everyone else will get MBE's

Or they could just give them all a knighthood.

Collingwood got one as well!!

He only played the final match in 05 and got about 20 runs

Hes earnt it this summer instead with that 74 off 270 balls to earn us a draw at Cardiff.

I left Colly out as i was unsure.

Monty should get a knighthood. Even Australia would love that!
