With Broad and Flintoff at the crease, we've still got potential for quick runs. Both can bat comfortably and i'd say pile on the runs in the first session. say 100-120 runs + to have a lead in excess of 600-650. Declare at Lunch and hope for a fully charge flintoff to rip through the Aussie openers and middle order.

Can't see us losing, and it'll take a mighty effort from Australia if they manage to save the match.

If K.P doesn't play then i'm confident we've got adeqaute cover, Ian Bell would probably be first choice replacement and he can make classy centuries if he plays well.

Hmmm am thinking we bat on until we have a 550-600 lead, get them back out bowling before we declare, that will annoy them - plus lose another 2 overs for the change over meaning if they want to win, will have to up the run rate to over 3.

We MUST however not bat on to long, weather and light is still an issue with showers forecast. Plus, we want 3 cracks with a new ball, so 170 overs or so just in case.
