Would it be batty to have a lock on the clan threads... so everytime someone goes to go onto the thread you have to type in a code to access you onto the thread. But you have to be a member of the clan to do this and only the members know the code. This way its a private chat and you can have proper clan chats/team talks. Obviosuly moderators can see what is being written to.

This would also stop pointless things being written by other people onto the thread which is irrelevant.

also the possibility to change code, in case a member gets kicked, they would still know the code so if they wanted to make a pointless thread then they could.

What would be the use of this, serioulsy? It just makes the whole thing harder to moderate. If theres something in particular you want the whole clan to know, offline message them. If theres something you want to discuss, create a private room.

I don't see any beneficial use to adding private clan forums.

I'm not a clan person but that idea sounds good but where iamtheworst said about not being able to mod it they should get access without a code, so clan members will get there code which can be change at anytime and mods and admins can get access without a code, but i do know there are mods who are in a clan and for them they won't get access (they can mod there clan), but mods and admins who are not in a clan can have full access to mod.

How does that sound?

When you say private message the clan members so its private, i mean i want private team talks and not just a 1 on 1 with one of my clan members.

This way everyone in the clan can hear other members suggestions... because if it was 1 on 1 through private message its cant be a team talk, and we cant TALK TOGETHER

But then everyone will have to be online... and having 13 members online at one point doesnt happen so could not create a private room and invite them all. However, a clan chat would be easier as they could go in when they are online and write in. That way we could discuss our tactics.

What tactics do you need for an online snooker game? Pot more balls than the opponent, snooker the opponent? There are no tactics required other than to try and win.

Whats wrong with having them like they are now? Or, have you ever thought of using MSN? This just seems like a complete waste of time.

And they can't do this in a private room as asked? Such a needless thing to have if you ask me.

Posts like this frustrate me completely, if you are going to ask for feedback, then expect people to give some negative feedback to the idea. Otherwise your just asking us to lie to you, which is of no help to the thread. Instead why don't you take what people are saying and adapt your idea so it is more viable. At your age you should be able to handle constructive criticism of your idea without feeling sorry for yourself.
