So you are saying that because of one person that only over 18s should be able to post? It is normally only the minority of under 18s (and some over 18) that make silly posts so I really don't see the need for this.

Also, just to add, if this was ever implemented (which it won't be) certain moderators will not be able to post, I'm not sure if there are any under 18 moderators on Funkysnooker at the moment, but I know there are on Funkypool, what do you expect to do about the under 18 moderators?

people who repeatedly post pointlessly need to have their posting rights revoked. it has nothing to do with age.

there shouldnt be an age limit just more proactive measures in place.

remove peoples posting rights if they are posting needlessly in the opinion of the mods

Personal attribute if I'm honest, it's how I am genuinely sarcastic once you know who I actually am, you'll understand. People take these forums way to seriously the emotion used should have been enough of a give away.

Alas, proof on this very page. We somehow got onto the topic of textual sarcasm which is even less interesing than rainbows.

I'm not sure age has much to do with it. It's just individual views and opinions. While i agree with the first post to some degree, everyone has his/her interests which they can post about if they wish. If you think it's 'sad' or 'needless' then ignore it and don't reply.

I think this thread raises some relevant questions, however, as many people suggest maybe the age of a user isnt the issue.

I believe there to be an issue were certain users feel that their opinion is more important than others and try and bully other posters and I will admit that i do not like being pushed around by a 12 year old....
