i think that there should be a player of the month for most improved, most wins and most torny wins in 28 days

Unsure on most wins but i think rank would be a good idea. More exposed recognition for 1st place ranked players could encourage users to play more ranked games. Also tournament wins would be good too for the same reason.

Obviously these are awards for the facts shown on the player's profile and game tables but when it comes to public voting, i'm not so sure. There are a lot of decent players out there that are unrecognised.

i believe that evry1 wishing to become player of month at beginning of month shud post their stats then post again at the ned of month with new stats

Player of the month might have different meanings for different people.
Like most improved or most cents or most helpful.

Perhaps there could be catergories ?

Could there not be a voting system in place ?

Nominations in by 1st of the month and then a vote or something along those lines

It could be announced in the newsletter as well

i only enter orig tournies too

its a wins system so you will be in contention to win the most wins award rather than most gained rank

and yes there are categories that we can hopefully sort out on this thread

I'm not sure on a public voting system. People just tend to vote for their mates and so as farren said, unrecognised decent/improving players would remain. . . .unrecognised
