As in the forum with that name? Why? Clans on snooker are an embarrassing joke.

Could you explain the use of it, and how it would help?

Id say clans on here are a joke but it would help to make them more organised like you would have people who are waiting for a clan , match results thread & is there is a cup , cup results.

It would just be more room for failed attempts at the league tbh.

There are about 3 maybe 4 dedicated clan leaders on snooker, whereas on pool there is near 20. There are probably 2 main people who organise the clans on this site, youngjeezy and dgeneratio with others obviously, whereas pool, again, has at least 10 who sort through fixtures, add results and update league tables.

The clans on funkysnooker are lazy, and uncommitted bar a few, which is actually the reason I don't join clans on snooker.

Like I've said in numerous threads until this is official (Nick's own) then the clans are doomed to fizzle out on snooker, no matter the help they may get.

why would you say this, seriously this is out of order your a moderator you should be trying to help us with the clans not make out were all a joke. and clans are not a complete joke as it happens the new clan league has started and over 90 players are included so tech youve just completely slated 90 players.

maybe if we had clan and league management it would work better, on pool it seems to work

im 100% in agreement we should have this.

look this is a little out of order,

you dont join clans cos you think players are lazy, are you not being lazy by not even bothering to join, if you played that would be 1 more succesful player wouldnt it,

but you would rather sit here saying how rubbish it is,

currently myself and lots more are trying to get things working round here. and were workin on this all the time, i was dealing with nearly 15 pm from people the other day, there is still alot going on with clans,

i feel that all the effort the new lads put in is shattered by people living in the past, thats my opinion,

basically your comments are very offensive wen people like myself are working as hard as possible to make this work,

were trying to make a success of things, yet all the new players reading this will think, whats the point all them people said its a joke, it dosnt work,, etc etc

it will never never ever work if you all carry on like this,

regardless of wether you say there are some that make an effort, i personally think your being very small minded in your comments on this subject.

I never said the clans were rubbish. I said they were lazy and uncomitted bar a few... meaning that there are a few who do put in shed loads of effort only to have it spoilt and let down by those who can't be bothered.

I'd happily join if I know there was a fair ammount of succesful teams in a succesful league, I think I speak for youngjeezy too when I say this , why should I put the effort in when the majority of others wont?

clearly u all think clans used to work and now they dont so help us to move forward, its so difficult to keep it together i know i would appreciate some tips

it worked at first. but it fell to pieces, mainly because no subs were allowed, too many games gettin missed to be caught up with,

i know it fell to pieces cos surprise surprise
hustlers were top wen it crashed.

also alexo went on holiday left ryan in charge, wen alexo came back he hardly came on an it fizzled,

hence y ryan started a new one which fizzled,

so now me, rusty and fester and mrmax wen he was here have tried again, we have simplified the rules, and hopefully this will help us get completion,

Right then, let me explain what I said. People "transfer" from clan to clan as often as they change their underwear. Clan games, never mind whole leagues, rarely get finished due to laziness. Clan leagues, aside from the one run by Alexo, rarely ever get past the first round of fixtures.

I never said I wouldn't support a Clan League if a good one were to arise. Quite frankly, anyone that gets a Clan League to run for two seasons on funkysnooker deserves a knighthood.

If some proper rules, proper guidelines, were introduced and followed by all those that are a part of clans, I would support them 100%.

The problem with creating the new forum on snooker is that it would be an extra place to mess about and be made to look a mess.

I believe that when Alexo spoke to Nick about this very forum being created, Nick said that it would be done if it was going to be used properly. To stop any confusion, used properly doesn't mean one Clan League is created, fizzles out after a season only for another to be created and the cycle to repeat itself every few weeks.

Running a clan league such as this would take dedication, not just from those running it, but from those taking part.

i feel if clan league had its own seperate thread it would help to get it to completion, i dont know why i think this its just on pool you open the forum and the clan league management thread seems to jump off the page and shout, '' look we have clans, we have leagues ''
