So what you're saying is an explanation of clans should be made more obvious?

I could see the benefits of this. More people will want to join clans, however, is getting more people to join clans necessary?

What would you suggest to make clans work better?

by highlighting clans more it would mean we would have more interest, thats the advetisement,

ok we will get alot more unreliable players however we will also pick up the small % of players that will be committed so over time that will help us.

where you have the current rankings down the side of the tables etc, or along the top , it would be good if we were able to have a scrolling txt banner, just to advertise the forum, what happens in there etc.

Or...

A little banner to the side of the game window advertising which clans are looking to recruit new members.

Obviously the clan captain would be the only person able to say that their clan is looking for members.

But perhaps this may be too complicated.

If things are kept to the forum, nothing is too complicated. Personally, I would like to clean up as much of the Clan Chat forum as possible.

To advertise Clans that are hiring, the name of the Clan thread can be changed to So and so clan CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR MEMBERS.

Once they have the members they were looking for, a forum mod can change the title back.

Penalties on clan transfers will have to be in place. If someone wants to transfer clans, they must wait until the start/end of the season, otherwise give a penalty to their departing clan and their new clan.

If members want to transfer too much during the season, they can be removed until the start of the next season.

Any more ideas..?

It could be a little harsh for the clan the player is leaving to be hit with some kind of penalty.

Thats my thought.

It would teach the clan to treat their players well enough that they don't want to leave. It would also encourage player rotation, since its obvious that the majority of people want to use subs.

Well, I suspose the talking point is whether or not the clan treated the player unfairly and if the clan is actually at fault for the player wanting to leave.

Maybe we need an independent group of players to rule upon laws and regulations of clans. ok, maybe i'm beginning to go off onto another tangent now.

Me and alexo finished that league and you know it. It was successful. Champions: ruff ryders! And you know it!

Clan league season 2: I was running it on my own and pretty damn well too. Only your uptight attitude, and somewhat lack of respect made your swelling head take that league away from me. Why? Because you could'nt use subs!? Dont join a league if you aint happy with the rules! End of.

From what i hear you have left hustlers and are crying about how your loyal members deserted you.

Now you know how i feel!!! Nasty aint it.

The thing is if i could bring ruff ryders back... i would! No question about it. But how hard is it when the likes of the hustlers have near on 30 players!? The main reason clans worked in the past was loyalty and the fact we all agreed to a set amount of players. Read the old threads Lee.

10 players and 3 subs should be sufficent.

Especially if you know your clan is good!

The only way they will work is if there are set rules and all clans agree to the amount of players, subs and games even. Thats my opinion.

Why do you insult people on the game?

Lee is a very dedicated member to funkysnooker.

Hustlers had a big clan cause we recuirted enough for 2 teams a team for improvements on players.

I suppose a few of the players like our attitude then yours of the game.

I know you are a good player but you do not run everything on the game clans are able to do as they wish .
