After many moaning posts here lately....i have to admit that it (for me at least) improved alot today...
Still using the "back up connection"....when i log on....but not many probs anymore...

I get the "back up connection" when i log in but this takes about an additional 5 seconds to log in which is nothing.
Never been logged out, never stopped responding and never had lag (well no more than i get sometimes anyway!) I use Sky broadband in UK

Okay guys, when the funkysnooker windows says not responding try this:
When it says your not responding, try refreshing the funkysnooker forum page or any other page and try another website such as google.com
This problem has occurred to me many times however, I got over the problem by doing the following.

i do that all the time and it seems to make it worse plus it comes up with connection with funkysnooker has timed out

When I see the connection failing message whilst playing in the top left hand corner of the game screen I always go back to my browser window and refresh to see if it restarts my connection.
It happens to me just about once every 4 or 5 games. It's got to a situation now where I can not play ranking games as I'm losing too many points!
Before all this started happening I'd had 2 abandoned games in original snooker - now I have 13 (not including the abandoned games in regular and arcade).

I'm failing to see the urgency to fix the problem here... the site is FREE you do not pay for anything. The problem is obviously on its way to being resolved so why keep whining? I would totally understand if you were paying for the site, but you're not, not a snicker.
The only people who have a reason to complain (if in fact it has affected them) are the premium members.

It's not whining it's reporting an issue, there is a difference. In your world, maybe no one would be allowed to report an issue and it would never get fixed.
As it happens, I've just logged in tonight and I've got straight onto the primary server.

Im also on the primary server tonight which makes a change, but still, the lag Im getting is unreal. Im on Bt wireless, connecting from Scotland.

Just got logged out of a game for the first time 5 minutes ago. Im not responding about every 3 minutes. Just aswell Nick realizes there is a big problem

Makes no sense, the problem started before then so ofcourse he knows and he's working on it.
I'm connecting from England, Service provider is Virgin Media.

I've noticed something else: when a game is finished, when both players have to click yes or no, I only see the game result in the chat window when I press yes or no, whereas I should see the results just when the game is finished, independently of the player's choice for the next game.
Maybe it was like that before, in which case I didn't notice it, but I don't think so.
