Hi,

I've just added a new facelift to funkysnooker.

The goal being less images (for improved load time), customisable for user (via edit profile) and more space for the content area. In addition we have more potential for greater enhancements in the future (eg more dynamic pages with iterraction like the help page).

Have a play with it and please give feedback here but please keep posts constructive. Any problems please detail the problem, page and browser version and I will look into it.

Other changes:
- Animation code has been increased in efficiency. For slower computers you may notice the game being smoother.
- The front page shows the actual number online, updating in real time.
- For those with premium your game choice can be selected on your profile, and the change persists no matter which link you use to enter the game.

i think everybody is missing the smiley faces.

they are appearing as boxes with x's in the middle.

Report more later but if it's the same as pool I'm pretty much used to it

If you click edit profile and then choose inverse pastel green and save it will be the same colours as before, with the significant difference being the menu is up top and wider content panel.

I've noticed two problems, I've got to upload the smileys and the edit profile change colours do not always work without you pressing save.

i prefer the other one to be onest this is mor complacated :(

Whats complicated about it?

just need to get used to it,looks good im sure people will think so too

there is bound to be a bit of getting used to it time but other than the menu box being moved i quite like it

On your profile when it should say killer it says killer pool. Nothing major just something you might not be aware of.

i think it looks really smart..will take a little getting used where everything is..but looks good to me

Back to the smileys I'm afraid

Don't know if it's just me but they look Particularly Pixelated and like a poor cut and paste to be honest

Thanks - temporary (old) smileys are in place. The smileys will be fixed properly in the future. The problem is I now need smileys to work properly on both dark and light backgrounds (the current ones work on light backgrounds), so it's a lot of work to get them working correctly and I wish to check core functionality first. However they will be improved.

In addition the player entry box has received a lot of negative feedback and also will be improved.

in his defense i dont think it was deliberate just click post 3 times

anyway, on my home page it constantly says 0 online

not a big deal, but, the colour surrounding the winner of a tourny is gone from the tournament page when you click into it

OK thanks for that Nick It's only a small point I know, but it does change the overall appearance, which I personally like (the choice of colours etc)




I have to say I tend to agree with Dec, I'm not sure it was intentional on the part of unexpected, just a treble post all at 15:22 with a server restart it could easily happen

I dont know if anyone else is experiencing this but the game is lagging abit. Might not be the update, but it was fine before
