Regarding being professional or not - this is subjective - but the old way was heavily built on images. The web, in general, is moving away from image based layouts.

I have selected pastel green. The main Forum list of threads is Blue but inside of each thread is green.

They all work, it's just the preview on that page that doesn't. It's been mentioned on this thread before and the preview will be fixed next version.

Nick - whilst I appreciate the hard work that has gone into this, I find the new layout and colour schemes ghastly to be honest.

I know I will get used to it, but as soon as I read about how to return to the old scheme (via edit profile), I did.

Maybe it is just an illusion, but it all seems somehow "bigger", more "in your face" on the screen now.... or is it just me....?

nope thats certainly not you! i think thats what lee was referring to about reading the forums being more effort.

there is definetely less posts per screen than before.

aswell as that, how are you suppossed to tell when you have an offline essage?
