Its a snooker site if you want to play pool there is a perfectly suitable site for this its pointless to add pool onto here

Because it's too easy for a start.

Also, the format which has been put forward is a lot better than the pool one and would fit in with snooker, as the break building part of it is how you'd do it on a normal snooker game.
