Very true. It might happen though.

The only exceptions I can think of are;

1) should be allowed deactivate and rejoin clan you left in your new name without any quarantine.

2) Doesnt need to be in place for people that are on the original team sheet at the start of the season

Things coming next season:

Transfer Window will be in the middle of the season, you have to stick with your registered clan until this time (if you don't you cannot play until the transfer window comes) then 1 week break will be given for people to change clans if they wish, after this time you must stick to your registered clan by end of season.

Free Agents who joins the clan will have a 1 fixture quarantine on there head which means they cannot play for the current set of fixtures but they can for next set of fixtures.

Deactivations nothing we can do except that they must be non newbie in 1 event to play (players already in clans at this point will be exempt from this rule unless they deactivate, please see reactivations for more details)

also reactivations can take place from nicks update (7 days it is) then the deactivated account is permanent. All you have to do is enter your username and password, also a new email address and the account should be yours again.

I will post on threads about Captains updating the games after each page if possible and message players who do not post when the fixtures are released.

Bonus Points - maximum (107 in arcade, 147 in the others) will be 3 points because it is really hard to get.

Golden Cue - There will be a table called Top Scorers where players who have won more frames is listed first (if new site is complete) then there will be a win ratio column (5 games minimum to be eligible)

what about help for yourself - and defaults panel

will re-activations face the same time penalty as free agents - ie 1 fixture quarantine - the reason I ask this is because sometimes players leave a clan game in a strop then de-activate - should we allow them to finish the game if they change their mind??

will the website be ready?

1) if people want to help they can do, all they have to do is send me a profile message (entry requirement - played for 1 full season and know a bit about rules of clan league), but even then you might not get chosen if i don't think your up to it.

2) defaults panel will happen because of a little disagreement, i won't do any applications but will invite people to join myself.

3) if reactivated player is playing in the fixture (and not being subbed) then they should be given the right to continue, they would be punished enough by not getting as many points when defaults arrive.

4) if reactivated player moves clans they they will not be able to play until transfer window.

5) hopefully the website will be done in time but as we know it takes time and effort so the person who is doing it can't make any promises, if this is the case and its not far from completion then may be best to put clan league on hold until it is finished offically.

what will be happening to gain player interest???

shorter matches i still think with 4 frames instead of 6 - not all players are of the capability of completing 6 frames of orig in an hour therefore boredom and incomplete games become a problem

unless there are more clans joining every season then the league will seem tedious - maybe push for 8 clans this season with a div 1 and 2???

promotion and relegation would mean that all clans would have something to play for - even in their last few games

true but i see no need to change that at the moment, you can put too much stuff in at once.

we will see what happens next season and i can change if needed.

there will be 2 new clans next season though, yours and sons of saints (hopefully).

number 1 aim next season- to have NO clans folding during the season

yes that would be great since every season 1 clan has folded

shouldnt we give them a tester, see how many games actually get done?

there playing all stars in friendly so that could be a test

there is this rule in place also:

10. If one (or both) of the players leaves without any given reason then the player who did not leave can take that frame if he/she wishes but its more appropriate and sporting to replay that frame.

how about we take rule 9 out and replace with rule 10?

Its a bit unfair though if you just start a frame or something and have only taken the break off shot and perhaps your kid starts crying and you have to leave.

Exactly. Anything unplanned could crop up at any stage. It relies on a certain amount of honesty on both members.

Possibly a screenshot at the time of the player saying he was leaving to show the current state of play and then a decision could be made as to what to do?

or another possiblity, ask the opponent what happened?

screenshots is ok but if it is a family emergency sometimes you don't have time to open paint, paste a screenshot and save or open screen hunter.
