Coming in next season:

Random Fixtures - to stop match fixing and can be any combination (1 or 2 in league, 1-7 in cup)
Lowering Team Base to 15 - was too many subs beforehand
Not using full 6 points for defaults - for those with like 1 hour v 0 hour playing time
fixture bans - those with multiple defaults or severe rule breaking
Pre season friendlies - 2 fixtures to ensure better activity and reliability

Discuss:

Plate - worked well this season but if we get too many clans then it could make the season a whole month longer or more so if this is the case should we go back to normal cup (frames and 7 v 7 stays the same) but that means golden cue wont be included in cup but im ready to sacrifice that if needed.

2 divisions - If we have 10 teams pass the friendlies i will probably bring this in.

way it works is you play each clan twice.

new or returned clans ALWAYS start in division 2, ability has nothing to do with it.

Transfer Window in middle of season? this was brought in so players can switch clans while still being eligible (Cup is different as if you played in a clan and you move then you are Cup-Tied)

This season we have had a number of clans with 7 or more defaults in a single fixture, should they be removed straight away or given 1 more chance to prove themselves?

I am also intriged to hear your ideas so we can discuss about them.

A cap on the amount of people who can join during the season ie only 7 new players allowed in during the season and if there are special circumstances dgen may allow a certain amount more.

This stops people bringing in an entirely new team each fixture and encourages people to think more about who is in their clan

i dont like the 2 sets of fixtures for the pre-season.it didnt prove anything last time with one set, i cant see how 2 will make any difference.

like the idea of fixture banning, will help alot with defaults and give ppl with games an insentive to get them played, otherwise there captino wont be happy lol

random fixtures? i thought it already was

cant see the difference between 15 or 17 players, just means captains witll take players out and put others in so everyone gets a game

agree - makes captain think about who to sign and doesn't sign a whole new team

disagree - people should be able to go to new clans (free agents) providing they don't break any rules,

we sort of have a rule in place already however that if you leave a clan before transfer window you miss season until transfer window, if you leave after transfer window your ineligible either way

others may agree though.

yep i was thinking mostly free agents but a lot of them who get drafted in 10 at a time by zac arent even active and sometimes havent even agreed to be in the clan

the ruling with clan members being quarantined after departures is a good rule and doesnt need to be changed

1) it gives us a better choice and we will know which teams can/cannot cope (effort will come into it like normal)

2) yep idea came through defaults when nearly every default 2 names popped up

3) no i always did it like 1 v 1, 2 v 2 from each teamlist but next season ill random it.

4) true but we wanted to lower base a little so we can have some more clans and will make captains think when to sub/when to release a player etc

shouldnt there be a rule for maximum members a clan can have???
if its set at 15 players for clan league, and say allstarz have 18 players, what are the other 3 suppose to be doing?

not sure, we have 2 maybe 3 non playing members at the moment

but i agree with you jack, like at one time zac had 25-30 members i think and couldve been spent making another clan instead

what im trying to say is its set at 15 for clan league, but you can still take ppl in and out anyway so it makes no sense.

i can see your point jack, some would be better knowing they could be in a place where you can play some league games.

but at same time, if you have non playing members (torres after plate final & paws so its alright).

The idea of a top limit (15 players) is there so that no ridiculous amount of subs can be made in a single fixture. The maximum in this case would be 6 subs for 9 fixtures. You are allowed to put anyone in your clan, but only 15 are eligible to play in the league at a time.

I don't think we need to talk about divisions. There is no way we will have more than 8 functioning clans.

What's wrong with the plate? I thought people like to play fixtures rather than having to sit out 2 weeks while the others play cup.

Suspending players who get loads of defaults is a good idea. We'll have to come up with solid criteria though.

Pre-season fixtures are very important in my opinion. Last season was the first time we had them and there was a lot to be learned. We can not just allow every clan that signs up to participate. I would say that clans who have a certain amount of defaults THAT ARE THEIR FAULT should not be allowed.

I'm happy to write up a bunch of these rules and post them here so that people can change/comment. Then I can transfer them into the rules document on the site.

So if a number of players suddenly go inactive, the clan just has to fold towards the end of the season, because they have reached their limit of 7? I don't know...
