Yes well said, I think it is time that we only have announcments for 5+ rather than 4+ and the in game tells us how many our run is so far.

No where near enough people play it james. There is only 3 that are over 800

There are arguments for and against including it. (Personally I think it should replace Killer in overall but that's never going to happen). The most compelling reason for including it is that it is a tournament event - especially now that Random Tournaments have been introduced.
