it shows up annoucements when you hit a 4 run or more so i think there should be some kind of stats showing your and how many good runs you have made
cant we just have run of 4 and a run of 8 or over in our stats cant be that hard to do
im proud of my 4 and 5 runs and i want ppl to see them on my stats , thats what stats are for isnt it

Firstly, i've given a very clear reason why i don't think this should be added. Secondly how is my opinion on this matter "pointless", which is all it is, an opinion.

Always been a mystery as to why this has never been there before.

and number of 4+ runs i think its a good idea but you can always use your about me as well.

And I remember when _spursjay_ was considered as an original snooker god with his 14 or so cents, and a high break of 134. Now we have centuries from over 5 different people every day, at least one maximum every week, and nobody has a problem with that.

I think that a run of 10 will always be a great achievement. Within 2 years it probably won't be as unusual as it is now, but it will still remain a sign of a high level of expertise, deserving to be considered the same kind of achievement as a century.

I'm not sure, but maybe 4+ could be too low at long term. I would personally prefer 5+, as there are already enough players hitting them, and 4+ would probably be a very low limit with time.

And it looks better to have 5+ and 10+, which is very symmetrical, like 50+ and 100+ for snooker!

...I think the announcements should use the same guidelines...

...so a 5+ run would get an announcement as opposed to a 4+ run.


Also...I think that during a carom run it should say what you are on so far (like it does on a snooker break).
