I've been thinking and I'm thinking it's got to be 101!

This worm goes up 4 foot then down 3 foot every day, which by my workings out is the same as going up 1 foot every day.

If he has to go up 100 foot, then that will take him 100 days.

Seeing as the answer apparently isn't 100 days....then it has to be 101 (I think), with the extra day being added for him climbing out of the well.

I can't think of anything else.

Seeing as it's a "riddle" though, I'm not really expecting to be right. lol

How is this possible?

The father has his 2 sons, so there are 2 sons. The 2 sons have a father each, but thier father is the same so there are only 3 people. They each catch a fish hence why there are 3 fish caught.
