Well I've unintentionally included carom in overall tables in this latest update.

Should carom stay as a first class game in funkysnooker?

i really hope it stays, i was shocked when you said this may have been a mistake

also nick with carom being included now, it makes it harder for people to reach virtuoso in overall.

i was really happy when i thought carom was being included because all my wins/tournie/ranking wasnt for nothing. for the first time it was actually worth something.

I agree too !

Overall means overall, and carom is included in the site...so it should be counted, plus it's a great and game and people who willstart playing it more they will soon realise it

I don't think it should.

Without carom on overall it is an 'optional extra'...like it should be.

I found this website by typing in something like "snooker game" on Google, I don't then expect to have to play a game which isn't snooker to be counted as an 'overall' good player on a snooker website (even if carom is a good game).

carom has wins/losses/rank/tournaments like any other so why shouldnt it be included?

by all rights carom has more right to be included than killer does since carom has a tournament and killer doesnt.

If you read my post I did explain why I thought carom shouldn't be included.

Overall can be added to player's page if they've played 2 or more games (with a note about why they aren't in the overall tables).

I dont think it should be added either, not everyone can play it and as james has said, its not a snooker game. I can play carom quite well yet its not everyones cup of tea

people needs to remember there is 5 different game types arcade , reg , orig , killer , carom which all should be included and overall means them 5 overall which should be apart of every game type and the result is showing how well you play them 5 and if wanted to be included in overall % you need to play all fair or not??

little off topic here, but if carom wont be included why should straight, straight is included and its an "extra". carom is an "extra" but it should still be included, pool currently has US, UK, 9 Ball, Straight, Killer and Random on Overall. Snooker has Arcade, Reg, Orig, Killer and Random, Carom on Overall will balance the 2 sites overall at being about 6 on overall on both sites.

you need to play ALL game types for overall to show, even if its just 1 game.

Not really, Jayy, I struggle, but I'm happy it going with the flow. I'm slightly for keeping it included - overall seems more logical to include every possible event.

Alternatively from all or none also discussed was:
1) Weighted rankings eg 30% arcade, 15% carom, ...
2) Best 3 rankings
