No, i'm just being realistic which many people don't seem to be on here anymore. Please, give me a couple of very good reasons why this should be added. Because the point you made in your original post holds very little water too.

5-6 players waiting in 1 room. If they are that bothered they could create another room to play each other. Problem solved.

And some people like to chat in groups so they could still play carom and all still be in on the same converstion..

And lastly its no big deal like its only a game, if it didnt work out they could just as easily remove it....

It's a big deal to the owner of the site (nick) who makes his earning through this site, so needs to bring stuff into the game which will benefit all.

Yeah i know every other persons comment was positive. They were also coming from basically the only people who actually play carom a lot. And also what does everyone elses positive comments got to do with my own opinion?

Well considering it will be brought in for the carom players then i think it proves alot..

Not really, as ideas are only put into practice if it benefits the majority of users, when this is only good for a handful of people on a site with nearly 25,000 on the site.

In my opinion, bringing this in will dwindle the already minute amount of players on carom.

Seven positive comments (of which two are qualified) is hardly a resounding vote of confidence to be fair.

The problem with this idea is that it adds very little to the site and potentially waters down popularity elsewhere. If it were the case that nick was twiddling his thumbs because of lack of things to do, then there might be a slight chance that it got introduced. As it is, there are far higher priority issues/enhancements to address. Any change requires effort and resources so it isn't simply a case of 'if it doesn't work, just take it out again'

Incloding carom in overall a month or two ago, was the first step that made carom just a bit more popular...If it continues rising, then carom killer would be something to discuss about in lets say 1 year or so...

As carom tournament is concerned, doesn't have many entries, but thats because of the time its been put, where not many carom players are on line.. if it was later at night it would have more entries, or if it was a 2nd carom tourn during the night.

But it has a long way until it becomes popular enough for killer...

Sometimes u dont even see more than 1-2 arcade killer rooms too.

(i'd love the idea of carom killer though, oh well :p)

You said Nick makes his living off of this site, and if its no harm for him to add this game baring in mind there is killer arcade...so im sure its not rocket science to implement...then its only beneifical to the site and only creates a bit of hard work for Nick (who reaps the reward).

You do get so official Dame and knock everything anyone throws out. In my opinionm the only reason you wouldnt like to see this implented is because your only thinking from your perspective.

Only does good things this, there is no real reason why to not implement it.

Saying there isnt enough players is a reason doesnt really fit with me, because it can ONLY increase the attention and publicity.

Plus, the reason people wont enter the tournies, is because i simply dont lose.

Even the big man Destiny couldnt defeat me in the last final, i even gave him a 6-1 advantage and then the magic happened.

Totally agree with that, i was going write something along the lines of what you did but couldn't be bothered.

For someone that never plays carom, if this was brought in i would definately start playing a lot more

just my own thought here , but it would be a good idea.
i learnt more playing killer , against the good players than in games normally.
being absolutely naff at carom , i dont play! if i could play and watch good players at the same time it would be an incentive to give it a try!
