I think it would be great, the balls in Carom are too big and the table atm is too small so what ya think???

theres more pace in regular as well, i agree this might be a challenge for destiny, fuzzy, cue_power etc.

Could also benifit the lower class players that are double kissing all the time...

Very few players can play this game on a small table to a standard that doesn't become frustratingly boring after one game and you want to move it to an even bigger table? I understand there'll be about 50, if that, people, who like this idea and want to see it. I don't see how the numbers carom has now on a smaller, easier table would increase from moving it to a harder table.

IMO, this would be a bad idea, bringing Carom to a bigger table, i dont think it has enough power to hit all the cushions it needs to, thus making Nick having to increase the power, maybe a Arcade table would be more suitible?

Well just enlarge the table a bit, personally i think the Reg table will be way to big.

or make size of balls a bit smaller.

I didn't say its easy, I said its easier due to the larger balls and smaller table. How about just having three balls left on the table and recording a session of "Carom" on the Regular table? Just to give an idea of how difficult it would be.

Every thread you have posted on, you have called carom boring.

I understand if you dont like it but its as if your making that statement for 90% of the site...

The balls would make it around the table, if you know what your doing.

Having the table small with the balls so large it is frustrating as whenever i miss its usually to a double kiss.

Nick could be sitting there twiddling his thumbs waiting to do something...so..the users of funkysnookers are throwing ideas at him, dont be over critical and be abit constructive yeah?

Well stop thinking about what can benefit the carom users and start thinking about what can benefit the site as a whole.

Its just as pointless as the carom killer idea at this stage in time.

Carrombole is more played in Other European countries aswell as countries out of the EU...

What does this site lack?

This idea is thinking of expanding, your just narrow minded and cant see past the ovbious faults.

Expanding on an idea which quite clearly isn't popular as it is, is just pointless. It's not going to suddenly bring a lot more users to play carom at all one the novelty wears off.

The only thing that this idea could do would be to destroy the original format of carom on here, as 90% of the users that play it (Which is probably about 20 users) will move onto this table and won't see the original format of carom again.

Basically i completely agree with you in the respect that there isnt alot of carom players, thats fact.

But what im saying is, we need to attract more people to it, you cant just say "well only a small % of users play it so this idea is stupid"!

This is the problem we are addressing!

Cant give up becuase its the easy and ovbious thing to do, we have to drag players onto the carom table.

Also would like to mention there was a rise in partipants in the Carom tourny today
