Spain are going to be hard to beat, as are Brazil but as always with the World Cup, I'm backing England.

Spain will beat Brazil in the final 3-2

The chances of Tevez starting most games are looking pretty slim with their formation. Maxi very rarely gets a start now because of Maradona and his "favourites" his suppliers basically, I mean individually they have some of the best in the World, but so did Real Madrid they didn't win anything did they. Funnily enough though I'd like to see them do well just becuase Mascherano is captain, but I highly doubt they'll make the Semi Finals.

England v France is always a dodgey game, remember the last minute goals Zeezuu scored to knock us out? They always find something from somewhere! Think we can beat them, and probally favourites too!

Argentina v Germany, so tough to chose. No captain for Germany with Ballack out, and even tho the Germans look really old, tired and not very effective up front, they are a big strong team thats hard to break down! Also with the Argentines scrapping results and not finding any form, starting Messi on the bench...its hard to see them waking up! But if they do...

Netherlands v Brazil, Hah! Cant possibly pick a winner for sure, but if i had to put money on it, it would be Brazil. Just for the fact they have Fabiano and a better defence. The Dutch can be very good tho...

Italy v Spain, Current champions of the world verses the current champions of Europe! Italy are very good defencivly and will need to be as Spain are very good attacking! Will be a very interesting game but again, you'd have to favour the Spanish!

Of course these are just my predictions...anything can happen!

They arent picked out of the hat, its a pre-set draw. England cant meet spain until final.

England can meet Spain in Quarter-finals if one of the teams does not win their group...

In my opinion it's too early to make predictions like that, we have empirical evidence of previous major tournaments where at least 2 underdog teams make it to the later stages... Korea and Turkey in 2002, Croatia in 1998, Bulgaria and Sweden in 1994, Greece and Denmark winning the Euro....

We have never seen a Brazil-Argentina-Italy-Germany quartet in the semi-finals and that's what makes football a great sport. My advice is wait until the Quarter-finals to make any predictions...

My tips for this World Cup are Argentina, Netherlands and England... I also expect Greece, Ghana and Ivory Coast to do well. Of course you can never rule out teams like Germany, Italy, Brazil and France who always perform well in World Cups.
