What do you get when you cross England with a disallowed goal?

Well that doesn't really make sense to me.

Why do people not realise England were just incredibly bad the first 25 minutes but after Upson pulled one back England were the better team for the entire match.

When it went 2-1 Germany completely bottled it, they were rattled and they were probally thinking "Uh oh". After Lampys strike and it went under the bar...if it goes in, Germany are knocked for 6 and the remaining 8 minutes of the first half would of been non-stop England pounding to get the third.

When in reality the goal that would of hyperphetically put us ahead, turned out to be a big negative as second half the lads must of felt pretty hard done by, then getting hit on the counter...demoralising.

So any fan of football or anyone with common sense can surely see the difference in 2-1 down and 2-2.

2-0 down to 2-2, players would be pumped to the max, realistically they would of been drawing, but mentally they would of felt like they were winning surely.


Im not strung out over the goal that never was, but I can see the contrast of what could have been to what actually was.

Shame to of lost in that manner. England would never of lost 4-2 if it went 2-2 after 37 minutes.

People need to appriciate that the German side is young and inexperienced, and if they let a 2-0 lead slip...

Who knows what would/could/should of happened, but I for one would of loved to see it

@ 2-2 we wouldn't have conceeded goals 3 amd 4, because we wouldn't have over commit to try for the equaliser. As simple as that.

The Lampard decision was the biggest disgrace since the Thierry Henry handball that screwed Ireland. Probably even more of a disgrace. If England got that goal, in my view, could have went on to win the match. They would not have been pressing forward as much and the game would have been much tighter.

I was sickened it was disallowed because it was an absolute cracker of a goal too.

i totally agree with that,it would have been such a different game..i do now think that england need to start looking at youth and start thinking about the future..as lets face this..this current squad has had its time and its now time to move on
