cant i go see my local team play?my friend supports liverpool so he got me tickets and i went but arrived bout 10 mins late to the game. still saw the goals 3-1 to west ham - 3rd goal was sort of stupid by skrtel. i couldnt see much of west ham's 3rd goal

Well I kinda expected something like that to happen. West Ham seem to be playing well without going anywhere in the table.

Demba Ba looks a real good player, can see a bigish money move for him in the future.

Reina has made his fair share of mistakes in the last 2 seasons so you can't really comment on a team in the final of carling cup second in premier league and just beat Barcelona at home lol (But I arnt sure actually how many games he has played)

And Stoke to beat West ham then the famous city are off to Wembley!!! and yes it may only be the Semis but by god will it be the best day out untill we get to the final

yea arsenal looked good before the game yesterday but think about it

1. they just lost the carling cup and therefore cannot win that trophy

2. they are struggling to beat teams like orient and therefore as soon as they get man u they will be stuffed and that is if they get past a replay vs orient.

3. they go to the nou camp with a very delicate lead and though it is not impossible to beat them at the nou camp (liverpool and i think chelsea have done it before) i dont think they will be coming home with anything other than spanked bottoms

4. the busy schedule they have with all the replays in the fa cup and staying in the carling cup for so long will take its toll on a young arsenal side and i cannot see them winning the league with rooney just regaining form and the rest of the man u team's consistency

all very well getting this far in cups and high up in the league but there are no prizes for 2nd place and arsenal will most likely come away from this season with nothing, again

the amount of times reina has saved our butts i think he is entitled to a few mistakes!

He (Reina) was voted our player of the season last year by the way.

Best keeper in the premier league. Will be leaving at the end of the year though I think.

Laurent Konscielny however, one of the poorer CBs in the league. Good off scoring from corners though like.

Can see Arsenal going on to win the league by the way. I just found it funny that they lost in a final when they were desperate to win. In fact looking at their run in I see them as favouites now. Especially if we can beat United this weekend.

Uniteds season could be about to crumble around thim I think. I can even see them losing on away goals to Marsaille. (They are a very good side)

Don't get me started on semi finals being held at Wembley! What a farce, just cos they over spent on the bloody thing. Suppose they have to pay for it somehow now.

Reina is nothing to van der sar, as much as i hate to say it.....anyone with a brain will tell you that.

reina is a hell of a lot younger than van der sar and van der sar barely has anything t do in goal anymore though admittedly what he does he does well

Pepe Reina is as good as Van Der Sar and nowhere near his age yet as Virt said!

Shame really because Pepe's a favourite of mine, looks like we're losing another battle to keep a player.

He was voted your player of the season because the rest of the team are AWFUL! He pulls of a save and you think he's awesome it just shows how bad the rest of the team played then

And have you ever heard so much rubbish he's as good as Van Der Sar what a joke he's not even in the same level of the game as him I no who I would rather have in my net each game and doesnt it say something when a 40 year old is playing better than a 30odd?

The difference is I no Stoke are a just below average team but all you in the Kop think it's a great Liverpool site wake up and look around you got 2/3 great player 3/4 good players and the rest are laughable for a top 4 premierleague team thats why you can't do anything exciting it's nice to be able see Liverpool on my fixture and expect a win where 2 seasons ago that was never going to happen.

Well in goal keeping terms Reina is a baby. Got another 10 years left in him yet. So excuse me, but I shall stick with my view that Reina > VDS

Reina will be playing in a Utd kit next year in all likelyhood, unless Wenger pulls out some cash. He will go for a record premier league fee for a keeper when he does. £20M plus I reckon. So it is not bias, cos if he does move on, I will hate the git, and more than I do Torres if he does go to United.

And Si, of course we know the squad isn't good enough, which is why a lot of fans wanted to keep Rafa. We knew the reason for our decline was because the season after we finished second, instead of buying quality to ensure a league title challenge again, we sold our best player that season (Alonso) and a very capable right/left back in Arbeloa.

The reason we hounded out H+G was because they stripped the club of its biggest assets (our best players) so of course we know the squad isn't up to it, and needs significant investment.

The difference is we expect to challenge for everything every year, no matter what crap we have on the pitch. Its the winning mentality.

If and when it doesn't happen, we look forward to the 'next season' and expect to win then. Because if we don't look to win, then there is no point in playing football.

That is where Roy Hodgson went wrong, he tried to dumb down our expectations.

For this season our only aim should be to win every game we play.

Reina makes too many silly mistakes, like Rob Green....something you'll never see Van der sar do, and thats what you call a top keeper.
