Already, we lost the ball in defensive midfield, and becuase our defence is 20 yards further back than first half, we regained possession!
Bloody hell England! Sign me up!

Luiz I have seen a few times this season, he is a dodgy player, while good going forward he can't tackle. Every game I have seen he has been terrible, either lucky to stay on the pitch, trying to take players on on the edge of his own area or giving the ball away cheaply.

I think because Luiz is a far better footballer than every other centre back in the premiership, in the sense he can dribble, has great agility and likes going forward, it opens the door for critisism when he is reckless.
He just needs to mature/adapt to football. He would of been hailed as sheer brilliance if we went back 20 years before the "He breathed on me im going down".
Very disappointing finish there, I honestly believe we were much the better side the second half and deserved nothing less than a point. But when you attack you leave yourself vunerable to counter attacks.
One reason I dislike Malouda playing, is because he is very much like Ronaldo in a sence... lazy.
Your in the last 3 minutes of a game at home, your team hasnt lost back2back home games in 10ish years... if he opted to sprint back to defend, then when Glen Johnson takes on Cole, he can only go down the wing.
But becuase he didnt fill the space, Cole doesnt realise there is a hole behind him and a threat, so when Johnson gets in the nutmeg, he is in acres of space and Malouda cant catch up with him.
Bitterly disappointed with losing, I dont like losing and especially to Liverpool, but Chelsea do need a wake up call.
Defence needs to be pulled back 20 yards, midfield need to move more, too many times Terry, Luiz, Mikel & Ramieres lost the ball as they had to pause.

With that said -
That second half performance was pretty good by Chelsea. We got fear into Liverpool, they wouldnt come and press us, became happy to let us go wide where we dominated. Pinned Liverpool back and dominated possession.
Cant ask for much more.
But too many times this season, we have to be losing and even down to 9 men at times, for life to be exerted into the players, the drive, passion to play a part.
Soon as we pulled our finger out we were the better side.
If we start games with that attitude we wont be losing so much and conceading. The pressure of not scoring doesnt help the defence.
Sturridge is a must start, he is enthusiastic, spontanious and determined! He is hungry to play, hungry to win. Which is the key element missing from Chelsea as a whole.
That Drogba back heel flick was gorgeous! His freekick was a beaut as well. I realised it went wide but the commentator lied to me! Was saying Drogbas first goal blah blah, tricked!

We cant get rid of him, we paid £13million compensation to get him! Lol.
I saw a stat with Chelsea managers, as we are pish atm so everyone is pulling the stats out...
One stat was, Mourinho managed nearly 200 games and since him we have had 5 managers since and they have managed just over 200.
When you consider Avram Grant nearly won the quadruple and lost 2 games all season? Whilst other managers didnt do too badly.
We also have spent more money on managers than Arsenal have in the past 5 years. Which is staggering.
Another stat, Chelsea managers value, from wages and transfer fees exceeded...
Newcastle
Norwich
Swansea
Total expenses.
These stats are just mental.

Yeah I got that on my stream as well. Wasn't SKY commentary. The nob nearly gave me a heart attack!
I think we were better first half, Chelsea better the second half, and a point a piece fair enough.
However, not complaining that we finally won a game, when recently we have dominated games and missed loads of chances.
The irony of it all was that all the focus was on two (one in particular) former Liverpool players playing for Chelsea against Liverpool, but it was Glen Johnson, a former Chelsea player returning to the Bridge, now playing for us, who won the game for Liverpool.
Oh the Irony

As soon as he brought the ball down and megged Cole, I knew he was putting that in. After the commentary team (Martin Tyler and Gary Neville from Sky?) were hyping up Torres and Mierleleles so I just looked away and said "Oh the irony" Then heard cheering.
Just turned the radio on, cant believe these plastic Chelsea fans. Its disgusting. A few days before Terry gets a big decision from the FA, all the fans turn their back on him.
Its all so very disappointing and it sounds like the start of the end.
Lampard was outnumbered today, which in the second half we realised, Mata was too close to Frank, they werent marking Juan.
The radio are slating Lampard, Terry, Mikel, Luiz after praising Terrys attitude to overcome all the anti Terry crap and Lampard for leading England to beat Spain.
Nobody has mentioned Essien or Alex. Alex has started two games for Chelsea, in both games we kept clean sheets. Essien is out best charm with us conceading less when he is on the pitch.
Theres just so much uncertainty with Chelsea and its a test of will power. You need a strong mind and not be clouded by the press. Internally as a club, we need to progress, install stability and confidence, only then can we perform like a team.
Cannot wait for Essien to return though. Been too long!

My MOTM was Skrtel. He was everywhere today, dealt with everything bar one cross. Just behind was Adam. Lucas was good, Bellamy played well also. Kuyt was a bit poo but ran around a lot.
Liverpool players dedicating the win to Brad Jones, who's son Luca died last night after a long battle with Cancer.
Chelsea just need to keep calm, no need to be leaving out big names, or sacking another manager just yet! You need Essien back ASAP, and that will fix a lot of problems in defence and attack.

Chelsea gonna spend big on Hummels in January? Could happen.
Chelsea could struggle to get top four this season especially with African Cup of Nations

606 mentioned that Bellamy could have been sent off early on.
So could David Luiz he should have gotten a yellow for slapping Kuyt and then he got a yellow later on in the match.
Ramires could also have been sent off but I have to admit most of his slide tackles were top notch.

Anyone else watch the MLS Cup Final? (lol)
Beckham may not be the fastest or the strongest, but his crosses and set pieces were absolutely brilliant. Wouldn't he do pretty well with Stoke (Crouch)? Also wouldn't mind seeing him link up with Klose...

He does worry me Ramieres. Not because he cant tackle or doesnt win the ball, but because of how players react to sliding tackles now. As soon as you slide tackle you are giving the oppitunity for any one of these weak premiership refs to over exagggerate contact and pull out the yellow card.
I think Ramieres is incredible, he has these long dangley legs and he seems to always get the ball. But the way he comes in, from the side or the back, he doesnt even make contact with the player, swipes the ball, the player will dive and yellow card comes out.
Worst thing is, Ramieres is stubborn. Even when on a yellow, he still fully commits to slide tackling which by that time the oppostion are waiting so they can try get him sent off.
Chelsea's downfall -
Drogba, Malouda, Mata, Lampard, Ramieres, A.Cole & Ivanovic are all attacking, all the time. Luiz sometimes wonders off as well.
It leaves us with Mikel and Terry at the back? With not many of them coming back to defend, they are not technically aware of the counter attack apart from Lampard who does try, but he lacks pace.
Man City -
Silva, Aguero, Yaya, Richards, Milner are really the only attackers (Would be Silva out, Nasri in, Balotelli in for Aguero) so they are not over committing players, and still Richards, Milner, Silva and Yaya are running back to help defend.

So if Man City can attack with less players & defend with more players...
They why are we getting short changed both ways?
Same with United, really is only Welbeck, Rooney, Young, Nani who attack. Yet even Rooney comes back to defend.
Chelsea arent a team, arent playing as a team. Maybe it is time we shuffle the team about, but I think the problem lies with our wide players. Ivanovic and Cole are too attacking. its 50/50 for who is higher out of Malouda or Cole. Cole offers the overlap 100%, he is always there. What I dont get is that Chelsea have always opted to play it through the middle, but now we are desperatley trying to go wide all the time.
I dont think we need to make any of the usual chelsea panic/crisis buys, maybe a team building excersise .
Finally, formation. We dont have one and that is the whole structure to the foundation! Players dont no where to play!
You have Ramieres and Mikel? Why? They are the same player? Chelsea wern't playing Mikel and Makelele at the same time and we rarely played Mikel and Essien together. By removing Mikel, we can add Anelka or Sturridge. They add something in attack and decreases the distance between Drogba/Nando to the midfield. Mata doesn't play inbetween the lines like Silva, Anelka does.
Cech
Ivanovic Terry Alex Cole
Ramieres
Sturridge/Anelka Lampard Essien Mata
Drogba/Nando
Could sacrifice width on the right to play Drognando.

Now you've gone even more attacking, Derry
You should play our old 5-3-1-1.
Cole and Bosingwa providing the width from LWB and RWB, Luiz is free to run up the pitch like only Brazillian CB's can. Terry will have cover for his slowness and Ivanovic/Alex can take the other CB position.
Then Lampard, Ramires and Essien in midfield, with Mata just behind a striker
