Most of this season Ba has finished his chances, even the best of the best have their bad games, and by the sounds of it, he missed a couple of chances, life goes on!

Im not saying he is pish or anything. Its just then to be up there (where Newcastle are) he is going to have to constantly take his chances to stay remotely near that position.

Im a Chelsea fan and I no the difference of where you are when your team doesnt take their chances and to when they do.

If Torres, Drogba, Anelka etc had been taking their chances we wouldnt be in such a pickle. Also if they had of then there wouldnt be so much pressure on our defense which has effectively crumbled of late.

It can really only get better for me and Chelsea, but for Newcastle, fans have to be realistic and realise the only way is down.

Not saying its exactly a bad thing, becuase the majority will expect it after the great start to the season. Man United, Chelsea and Liverpool coming up for them and that will obviously be difficult.

The key comparison will be depth. Unless Ba constistantly puts his chances away then Newcastle will struggle. Because in the other teams, if Drogba isnt putting them away, then Torres might be. If Defoe isnt scoring then Pavlychenko steps in. If Tevez is awol Aguero or Dzecko step in.

Shola and Sami Ameobi I feel, are not a great back up. But January is around the corner and maybe that will be a chance to make a signing.

They will need to make a signing, ain't Ba going to the African nations in January or something?

Decisions tend to even themselves out over a season, unless you are Manure then you just get more decisions go for you than against, it's just the way it is.

Never saw the game but from what I heard Stoke were robbed and I saw a definate pen in the 5 seconds of the MOTD I did watch where someone got pushed from behind in the box.

Gotta take it on the chin and use it as motivation for the next game, the more you all get worked up about it the harder it will be for Stoke to bounce back. That link for me works perfect everytime. Its streamed through skysports, so its exactly the same as watching it on skysports, with the commentators, adverts in english etc, with prehaps a 5-10 second delay.

I say it works everytime, but it seems to have messed up. It seems to think Liverpool are beating us 1-0? Must be broken...

Really poor from Chelsea, not entirely sure why we seem to just hold the ball in defence.. when our defence play on the half way line. So if we lose the ball (Terry Van Persie incident) You have a slow Terry running back against a pacey forward? Or its a slow Alex... Or its a rash Luiz, or its nobody.

This time Cech takes a moving goalkick (Ref had already made 2 freekicks retaken for moving ball) the ref allows it, Mikel gets it caught under his feet, takes maybe 3 touches, gets pressed, goes down... and its 4 against Terry and Luiz which ends in a goal.

I think Chelsea need to go back to basics. We have a high line which is fine, but Terry is playing higher than Maxi is is attacking midfield, and Luiz is playing higher than Bellamy.

Why do Chelsea feel the need to do this when we are trying to work the long ball. When you cant defend, you tighten up, well Chelsea dont.

We are victims of our own stupidity. AVB Wants to do it his way, but he has became stubborn. He wont change his philosophy to try and prove a point, but this isnt his philosphy. He has been munipulated by the press into thinking this is how he plays. Porto where tight, compact, defensive with 3 attackers. Chelsea at times only have Terry back in defence. Ivanociv, Cole are so attacking and Luiz dribbles past players like he is Messi and we are left with probably the slowest on field player against multiple attackers.

Its such a simple soloution.

How can not one of the Chelsea players, staff vision this?

Drogba, Nando, Sturridge, Mata, Lampard can attack and creat themselves. They dont need every other player up with them. You dont see any other teams attack with centre backs.

The only way it could get worse for Chelsea is if Cech goes dribbling up field lmao.

Well, second half. I think Chelsea can score, Drogba is a living nightmare for anyone and Mata/Lampard can score at any time. Sturridge has trickery and pace and most importantly confidence to take on players.

Should be exciting.

My prediction if chelsea equalise, we will win. Otherwise 1-0 or a late Liverpool goal on the counter.

Harsh comments about Luiz. He has superb technique, stamina, dribbling ability, heading and strenght.
