Just play the balls. If your in powerplay and can get in around the black you can rack up a very nice total quickly and efficently.

agreed, i wouldnt mind practising this in original with the normal rules of course (like 10 min timer, powerplay/zone the same) and see how high i can get thats why i would like for power snooker to be on the practice table as well

Yeah maybe do a trial for power snooker on the practise table before implementing it to the real game?

If you think about it, You get a bonus amount of points for making a century break of something like 50 points. If you pot 4 reds and blacks from the power zone, you are getting a century but taking the black from the powerzone can get tricky and it makes it more missalble, making it more fun!
You just have to keep your opponent off the table! Then they cant score you see

Not sure what you mean by that because if you mean total score, there is no maximum in ordinary snooker anyway and if you mean break, the maximum is 396.
Edit: forgot there was only 9 reds
I dont think there is a maximum. 396 would indeed be the maximum for the balls on the table. However, the match HAS to last for 30 minutes. So once all the balls on the table have been pocketed then there is a re-rack.
So there is actually no maximum break as the balls never end. Just depends on how quick you bash the balls out!
Just wanted to point that out! Think this is right!Dave is correct. There is a maximum.
Once all the balls on the table are potted, the break ends. The balls are re-racked and the break-off shot alternates between players each re-rack.

yes but the rule is most points after FULL 30 minutes, not after each frame.

yes but Dave mentioned maximum BREAK not maximum amount of points that can be scored in a game.

Ah, I missed that point too, yep the maximum BREAK is 396, max score is infinity...

Im sure you could work out what the an approximate maximum score would be for a 30 minute game but there is no definite maximum. The current is 550+ by Ronnie.

From the powerzone itself is only double, so that'd be 64 points. I think you mean Powerplay and Powerzone together for the 4x, In which case 4 reds and 3 blacks would get you 100.

Regular table seems the only viable option really for this. Would be very interesting to try it.

i reckon the regular table would be better, as if you put it on arcade the power zone will be easier to pot from
