Will the power ball be of a slightly different colour than the other reds? I think that might be necessary because even assuming that the circular design is going to be used it might not always be possible to see which one is the powerball...

Also which table will Power Snooker be played on ??
I would think Regular would be the best IMO

I think so too. The balls can always be a bigger size anyway cant they since there is less of them?

You mean Arcade size balls on a Regular table ?

I would think Arcade balls would be too big for that, but I agree, somewhere in between Arcade and Regular size balls...

My vote would be for original, but then again it would be wouldn't it
But seriously, I think that it needs to be original because of the Power Zone. It would still be easier than in real life, but would present more of a challenge for most than Arcade or Regular.
Edit: typo

Cheers buddy. First thoughts is I think it looks pretty silly with the crazy lights and the football style crowd.. not a fan of that really. Still like the actual game though.

I totally agree, and to be honest the ITV production left a heck of a lot to be desired (probably why it was relegated to ITV4). So yeah 9/10 for the game 2/10 for presentation.

I saw it for a few mins online and thought, whats all the hype about, i think it'll be much better on here then how it is in real life cos its well boring to watch like.
Also, i was trying to figure out the rules and listen to the reff and stuff but all i could hear was the commentators and the voice was crap, put me well of, they didnt stop talking and was about crap anall.
I dont like it in real life but i think it will be a big hit on here.

Here is a good article about the game, and they mention funkypool
http://www.snookerisland.com/blog/power-snooker-computer-game-snooker/
I have played around with power snooker on my development version of funkysnooker and what is clear is that there is insufficient space between pink and black on the arcade table to fit the diamond. This means that either the pink spot needs be moved, or more correctly, the regular table should be used.

It would be more suited to the larger tables or even creating a new table? (dont know how much work would be involved in that).
I reckon the scoring would be outrageous on the arcade table since long shots are not difficult at all so the power zone would be increasingly easy to pot from.

I can't see moving the pink spot as an option. Maybe make the arcade table a liiiiitle bit bigger and have a new size table?
As an arcade player I'd obviously prefer it to be on the arcade table, but seeing as it won't fit I reckon a Power Snooker table where the balls are a little bit smaller than the arcade ones.
But to be honest, the regular table is probably the most popular idea lol.

So is this going to be implemented? It would be so cool to be implemented, and also will reel in more players IMO

It has to be on the original table otherwise i can't see it working that well. Maybe on the regular table at a push but i believe it will be more realistic and successful on the original size table

Not a fan of original, but agree with this statement
