Just fed up with people cheating.
Just to clarify, there is a big difference between cheating and unsporting. If you do indeed mean cheating, I'm curious to know how you know (faultless play .is insufficient grounds for assuming that there has been cheating).
If, however, you know they are definitely cheating then you should report it - in which case the problem will go away.
You're probably right, maybe its unsporting rather than cheating but while there is nothing that stops them from doing it, they will continue.

As i said in my original post i think this is all thats required.
You don't have to block people as such but add them to a seperate list and when they join your room their name is highlighted in a different colour (you don't need to be informed when they log in though).
You can then make the decision of whether you wish to play them or not.
As soon as someone is unsporting in a frame i instantly add them to that list, simple

No i'm not going to get over it until something is done about it.
The touching ball should be intoduced and although nothing can stop players being unsporting and rolling into a space i would like to see a list i can add them to so i don't have to play them again.
I have a high ranking in arcade, yet if someone plays a good snooker i have enough respect for them to make an attempt to get out of the snooker, if i miss and leave them on then so be it, they played a good snooker and deserve to have an attempt to win the frame.

Obvioulsy another player who is frustrated by it, and great to see one of the best players on the site having morals!!

Fully agree. I always try to get some reds out of the pack and get white safe when aiming on a max/cent for example. People who just push cue ball in the pack creating a touching ball....is so annoying....
About blocking....to be honest...i have only 1 person on "ignore" (and he probably knows im pointing at him now) ..if somebody is starting with abuse or creating touching ball time and time again...i just leave after the game. Simple but effective....as long as they dont come back as guest...........

remember - the balls that can be potted on funky from all sorts of angles are nigh on impossible and wouldnt even be attempted on a real snooker table - the original post was about someone pushing to get out of a snooker and not making an attempt to hit a ball - IMO that is cheating - but to say that people who roll up to the pack are the same is ludicrous.....
if i am playing a top ranked player on here and know that they can pot for any position on the table - "impossible shots" on a normal table the option to roll off the pack and leave the white tight on the baulk cushion is suicide....
a great safety shot on a normal table isnt the same here
i do feel there should be a rules for deliberate fouling - but tactical play around the pack - part of the game

Emily - my main 2 concerns were when players are snookered and roll into an open space or like the other night when someone 'smash' breaks and didnt land on a colour so they potteed a red that was left over a hole so to leave nothing.
This player seemed to believe this was acceptable, ok fair enough if i meet him in a tournament then i can't do nothing but i would prefer to know who it is (name highlighted red perhapes?) so i can steer clear of playing him in ranked/friendly games.
