What about the person that leaves will lose double as many points as normal for one game. That would make them stay and they dont lose points for every game if they got disconnected.
And the other one just gets the usual points for a win?

something like that would probably work. dont know about winner, but 2 frames loss wouldn't be too bad for disconnect

simple solution, keep it in friendlies for time being

but if you know you are a person to crash/disconnect alot like me then you will either...

- play friendlies
- play ranked but best of 1 match so you dont lose many after disconnecting.
- you can also make your own room instead of joining best of 3 or whatever risking losing even more rank

Could you not just find a like minded person and play a best of "whatever" I know I do this with certain people.

I, as most of you know only play friendlies and often I play members/guests for 10,15, 20 or more games - no rank no worry ?

I would prefer it if there was a way we could bring a best of 5 in arcade coz i hate it wen people around same rank play one the move off! i hate it!

This is really only relevant to ranked games, since in friendlies it makes no difference if people have to go/get logged off or whatever.

I have always been a fan of this idea. Yes, it is a big rank risk and could be devastating if you got disconnected, but thats all part of the fun and excitement.

As long as there is plenty of warning, so nobody can "accidentally" get into a multi-frame game, I see no issue.

Not sure if such a system would make a difference. The people who would agree to join a multi-frame game aren't the ones that would leave after one frame...
