Great idea IMO, introduce billiards into FS, with all the official billiards rules, i know carom is similar, but billiards is superior in so many ways, so maybe replace carom with billiards?

Carom would never get replaced by Billiards, I don't see what billiards would bring to this site either...

Billiards would bring alot more enjoyment than carom, in carom you can only score 1 way, in billiards you can score 6 ways, and it helps you get position practice for real snooker.

Yeh thats what i mean James, either replace it or bring it in as another game, because billiards is a fantastic game imo, would benefit the site alot!

I agree totally , billiards is a fantastic game and far more interesting than carom (ooooooh.... controversial ........expect a bashing for that.....).

It improves your angles , position, strength of shot , in fact all aspects of your game.

Not to replace carom(as it is a very skillful game played by masters...(rescues himself there)...) but as a new game type.

It should appeal to both caromers(as there are some similar aspects...in fact the first time I played carom I was trying to play billiards without the in offs lol and wondering why I wasn't scoring) and reg/original players and would be at least as popular as carom if not more so.

yeah point taken but i wouldnt want carom taken away (including stats) and i think the caromers will agree.

i havent heard much of billiards but i would love to try it out as a new game type rather than place carom.

But I am convinced billiards would get a bigger participation and would appeal to the caromers and snookerers (can you say that ) alike.

On an original table (as it is in real life) it would be brilliant, but on an arcade table I think it wouldn't really add to the site seeing as that is more suited to carom style billiards.

Arcade table, people would be getting runs of 500 etc because they wouldnt miss


Original table seems perfectlike B2B said, because it makes it harder to pot, harder to cannon and harder to go in off

cricket is where you have six reds, and all colours, one player breaks off and has to clear all the reds, while at the same time the 2nd player pots colours and see's how many point they can rack up with just colours, this will stop as soon the first player pots the reds, then they reverse, and who ever scored the most points at the end, wins
